A really good collector friend in the States needs a favour. I told him I would ask around.....
He needs someone with an AMAZON PRIME ACCOUNT here in UK so he can order something. He is VERY well respected and has helped me out more than once. Safe to say, if he was on this thread we would all enjoy his company. He has PayPal ready and is a dependable guy. I am not 100, but I think he needs to order something to an address here, then have you send it on. If you've an account he would be grateful. Wouldn't cost you a penny and I am sure he would throw you a bone for helping him if you wanted. Thanks in advance guys. If not no worries... Never hurts to ask. |
I ordered it for him, I was going to give it to him for nothing (I do that A LOT) but after I messaged him to say I ordered them he let me know he found someone else to get them so F**K it. Luckily I caught Amazon before they shipped

There has been a lot of freebies flowing about. Good to see that in our community. I just hooked someone up with Star Lord head, hands and boots from the ML one I just took apart. He had been needing some bad for an assembled body of the legendary outlaw. Offered me $15 for it and I thought don't be daft, I'll just pay it forward. Got to keep your good toy karma on the upstroke when you can. I know that all of us here in this thread have helped out with freebies, we all rock!!!!!

One thing that really pees me off with ebayers, and there might be some on here that do it, but I saw that figure last week when it was first put on at £9.99 so I watch it all week then after about two days it was up at £50ish, if you want something why bid on it when there are days to go, I have never bid on something until literally the last 30 seconds of the auction ending, if everyone thought the same as me surely you would be getting cheaper better deals, am I missing something I just don't get it. |
My EE groot arrived but its the old one with the standard head, emailed the seller and I am going to give them the chance to send me the right head as I am not paying return shipping to the US for their mistake.
How hard is it to put the right thing in the box lol |
That is shite service in the Groot!! I was joe demand the full figure and ship it back at POSTAGE DUE ON ARRIVAL parcel. You could have gotten a KO with little articulation and movie head. If get just the head you will have to paint. But.... If you do get just the head you can totally have my Groot body as it matches the head and all the joints are factory painted.
Ah, Lawless is a sniper on eBay. I go both ways (ha!) when it comes to bids. I have found myself loosing in a frantic war at the end and the price ends at a lower price than I would have actually paid! Say I was will to go to 20 it is at 10 with 20 seconds then three guys get in and I don't get my third bid in and it sells at 18.50..... Also I have been caught up and beat of the moment in the bidding haze gone like 27 on something I wanted to go only pay 20 for just because I put a ridiculous high number so I don't get sniped last second. Then I am all like, well shit- that sucked. The high of the win is quickly succumbed by the low of instant buyers remorse. And as you stated... We have ALL watched and forgotten at the finish last be and seen it go for like 18 when you would have paid 25. These days I tend to just but my max bid in with two days and see how it floats. No worries no surprises. If I get I get it. Also if ten people do it at the end it CAN go from 10 to 60 when normally it would have only hit 45-50. It is a delicate dance. |
I must be a weirdo to you Law, I sometimes sit in the very front in cinemas for 3D, I bid my max with four days to go. I prefer fries to chips. I army build the same figure over and over and over and over. I moved from Hawaii to be neighbours with your mother-In-law. Is there no end to my lunacy!!!!

Showing these for their cour and scale..... Doom army coming along. Got another one coming from Pilk and just one more is needed now. |
With out seeing them with a flash, the colour on the flying thing is near identical to the olive single carded Doom. At least to my naked eye it is super close.

This one might be TOO dark. In natural light next time maybe.... |
Anyway... It is green.

Home Bargains have the Spider-Man Legends figures for £6, picked me up a Carnage!
|
Smyth"s has the Cap ML wave w/ Mandroid baf pieces for a tenner and the Spudey 2 ML wave w/ that goofy hulked out Green Goblin baf pieces for a fiver. Got an email.
I love Home Bargains. When they do have figures they are are pennies to the pound as original retail. They often have same stock as TK MAXX as well for toys. I hit up the one in Laws town about every fortnight or so. |

Still had no luck with Red Skull or Baron Zemo in Smyths. A little frustrating with them being the only ones I need to complete the wave and the Mandroid. I think it's the revision case they've had in, which had more of the movie figures and less of the comic ones I believe. |
