I used to have that dude, along with the mummy, zombie, Frankenstein's Monster, Fearsome Flush, Egon, werewolf cop, and a football dude. Never understood why he had one eye closed though.

Thanks!

That happens to be one I have thought about getting, but in the end I pass because my collection is only Player 1 color Guiles. I gotta draw the line somewhere... The only exception in my collection is the Movie G.I. Joe, but the only difference is his tank top is Black so I feel like it works.

^ Nice, Heisenberg!! Nice! Im glad you paid less than retail for those figures, seeing that BP had an INSANE price when that wave was just coming out. Congrats!!

Weapon X 04-04-2017 10:01 PM

God damn, jealous....I paid $25 for my Black Panther recently.

I need that Cap to complete my giant man.

Best Buy has been getting this wave consistently. I bought both Sabine and Revan and even picked up the revised Leia with the new head sculpt last Friday.

My Best Buy only has the first wave.

Amazon wants too much money for them. Last time I looked, both Revan and Sabine were like $45.

Revan's price is still stupid but Sabine can be had for around $22.75 prime.

Today I got the new DC Icons Deathstroke from my lcs, I had to call and ask them to hold one for me and good thing I did because they got cleared out of the rest. They also had Wonder Woman and Cyborg and I was told they had Swamp Thing and Static Shock but those were bought up. Overall I think it's an awesome figure but it isn't without some gripes: as I've almost always felt DCC figures tend to be overpriced and the Icons line is no exception, and his pistol doesn't really fit in the holster. To be clear the pistol does sit in the holster but not very snugly and there were a number of things they could have done to fix this as it is very easy to have the gun fall out while messing with the figure. Other than those complaints some little paint issues are all that's wrong with Deathstroke. I really like how they handled his blue scale mail parts, it reminds me of how Hasbro actually recently handled their 6" Hobgoblin, and the heads are both very nicely sculpted. His sword and staff are both good although it can be a bit of a tight fit the first time you get him to hold the staff. The guns are both alright but I think they'd have benefited from more paint or maybe just being a darker color than the staff. It's good to have a nice, classic Deathstroke finally join my collection even if he doesn't really scale with anything else DCC has done.

Also here Slade is with his Marvelous knockoff

i prefer DeathStroke over deadfool anyday...

Riddick 04-05-2017 09:13 PM

I prefer Deadpool anyday.

Who would have thought a knockoff character would have outgrossed Superman (Man of Steel) and Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn and etc (Suicide Squad) at the theater and was R rated at the same time. Hell out grossed Marvel films as well.

For a knockoff character.. that is amazing! Deathstroke will never see such fame. I love Deathstroke but Deadpool is just too much fun.

Riddick 04-05-2017 09:25 PM

I have that Ghostbuster Dracula... I used to love that thing.

lordbest 04-05-2017 10:03 PM

I like that Deathstroke, it's going to be a few weeks before I can get one. Wish I had the thighs for metallic sequined leggings and orange booty shorts.

I think Deadpool worked out because he wasn't just a knockoff, he had the comedic factor (with his mental instability) thrown in. Unfortunately they've leaned too far into his comedy-zone at times which has just made him into a clown but some writers have shown a good balance is possible.

The Walmart exclusive 3 3/4" SW Black Series figures are on clearance for about $5 in my area, and among the dozens of Finns, Hans, and Leias, I managed to spot a couple of Phasmas.
Also, while on a work-related road trip today, I stopped at an out-of-town Walmart, hoping to find some $5 Stormtroopers for a little troop building, and snagged the rest of these.
I already have all of these, and while I'm keeping the Stormtrooper for myself, the rest are all going to be gifts for friends.
I'm hoping I can convert some 5 PoA collectors to SWB collectors :p

Also, the Walmarts in my area have, disappointingly, not received the Walmart exclusive Matchbox Land Rover series, but about three days ago, I found that the vehicle I wanted most from that line was being released in the 2017 Matchbox mainline collection, and today (in the aforementioned out-of-town Walmart) I found this beautiful Land Rover Defender 90 !
