Well, it did take them over a year to show up at Walmart. For example I have 5 Walmarts in a 30 mile radius and only one of them have had any 3.75 figs.

That is AMAZING!!!!!

Good news from a shite situation. I am getting a toy room!! At a great personal cost though. My wife is extremely disabled and suffers from multiple sclerosis. Her condition has worsened and now she can not walk. As a result, she needs a huge hospital bed and a hoist installed in our home. We can not get it up our staircase because of a stair lift. So, it must go downstairs in the living room.

So basically, our downstairs living room will now be her (our) room. My son will move into our large bedroom and a couch and tele will go into his bedroom. Making that a cinema room/toy room/man cave. So a silver lining in a dark cloud. We are getting a small toilet in our under the stairs storage room where the boxes of toys now are (think Harry Potters room) and the main bathroom is being converted into a handi-accible full wetroom for her.

The local council is paying for most of the adaptations under government grants, NHS is supplying a lot of smaller daily disabled devices to make life easier for her, and the rest is coming from a MS Society fund. She will be MUCH better off, my son gets a HUGE bedroom at 11 for his upcoming teenage years and I get a toy/movie room! All n all, pretty happy out of a Bad situation.

Thought I'd share that with you guys. Always keep my personal life just that, but wanted to share the toy room news. Will get a few more Detolf shelves and will make 4 dioramas. Space/Guardians scene; Spider-Man Daily Bugle scene;a HYDRA setup;and a S.H.I.E.L.D. Super Helicarrier scene. Each little section in the five or six Detolfs will be a mini dio as well.... Asgard shelf, Ultron shelf, X-Men shelf, Doom shelf.... That sort of thing. Very happy for the future of the collection, as up until now they have lived inside bags inside boxes inside a closet.

^ That's a neat idea for sho... looks expensive though. LOL.

And congrats on the display room ukmu.

ukmu 05-12-2017 09:17 PM

Thanks guys.

Sinister Six set now available

https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Legend...5XW6F8M297ZRVC

Stumbled across it while searching for reference pics. (Differnt variations off Masters Of Evil and Sinister Six)I like in the description where it says, "seven PREMIUM retro figures" and 10 accessories. 10? U wot m8? Then I counted, Sandy's big club hand, Vultures wings and counting each of Doc's tentacles as one each. I don't count these as accessories but just part of their costumes. Oh well, it exists and now it's available. Thought I'd share.

Spidey and Shocker pack is also starting to be sold at standard price on Amazon. Not officially by Amazon, though, so not sure when that's gonna be official.

MUfan97 05-12-2017 10:27 PM

Did they DELIBERATELY make the Captain Marvel body so hard to paint? 'Cause seriously, this figure has so many paint rub points, and no matter how much I grind it down, it always rubs.

Seriously, I've given up on posing this custom after I put it up on display. I will literally just put it up on display, and only bring it down to touch up once I have all of the rest of the Amazing Friends assembled.

It's weird too how the AIM Scientist Supreme I made didn't give me this trouble, and that figure broke in two places!

I count zero accessories. Wings and fist and tentacles are all part of the character, accessories must by default be something above and beyond the basic character. I have no idea what whoever wrote that spiel was smoking!

Jackieboy 05-13-2017 08:01 AM

wings, tentacles, kraven accessories, mysterios removable cape, maybe generic webbing for spidey??? seems legit in a sense they are accessories.
anywho just found these at clearance decided to grab them for doombots, might head back tomorrow and grab the rest.................anyone looking for FF spidey bucks for customising???shoot me a pm.

I don't know... saying Doc Ocks tentacles and Vultures wings are accessories seems cheeky to me... they wouldn't be functional versions of the character without them. From what I can see, Kraven doesn't have any accessories, nor does Spidey or Electro. Not sure what they're referring to.

Looking well nice MU.

Better go back and get those JB, you WILL regret it later of not. The time to buy, is when you see it. Always trade them on if not needed.

LordMudd 05-13-2017 02:26 PM

Got the Shocker and Vulture packs at TRU today. Also picked up the Animal Planet Temple for Black Panther, but it will stay boxed until I have enough space to do it justice.
