MARVEL UNIVERSE AF ASST 201201
Product Update (6/25/2012): Will contain one each of Hulk & Ghost Rider, plus two each of Incredible Hulk, Kraven, Beast, Beta Ray Bill, & Spider Man Unlimited

MARVEL UNIVERSE AF ASST 201202
Product Update (6/25/2012): Will contain two each of Blastaar, Professor X, & Jubilee and one each of Silver Surfer, Psylocke, Incredible Hulk, Beta Ray Bill, Spider Man Unlimited, & Shattered Dimension Spider Man

I'm late to the party on this one, but here's my two cents.

Here in Hong Kong, we got that first assortment about 10 days ago. It's just the regular Wave 18. Spider-Man "Unlimited" is Ultimate Spidey - the dark Miles Morales one.

As for the second assortment, it hit Singapore and Philippines last month. I figure it is just Wave 21 that's leapfrogged waves 19 and 20. So you've got two of each of Prof X, Jubilee and Blastaar as is normal for any wave. Then they've added a mix of single figures from previous waves, which explains why that "Shattered Dimension" Spidey is there - going by Sing/Phils, he's Paper Bag Spidey from Wave 19.

I figure after that we'll see waves 19 and 20, then all will be right with the world again.

I believe so. Doomtron, I believe, did a custom using existing figures to make his own so that he didn't get butt raped on ebay for the actual exclusive figure

Jackieboy 07-06-2012 03:51 AM

i just wanted to share it with everyone, because i know a lot of folk may never get that figure, but by switching the heads on both figures and maybe tweeking the hair colour on SR,they could have their very own unmasked doom.
and this is why i love MU,it gives you a creative option you would not get with Marvel Legends.its a very user friendly toy line and i appreciate that :)

If you really want to go for the full effect of a scarred Victor then I suggest using the Joe movie head of Doctor Rex , and that same head can be used for an unmasked Deadpool as well.

Hmmm I dunno about removing the mask on Doom (if thats what you meant) but I just pop the head off and do head swaps.

I don't know if anyone else plays League of Legends or knows of it, but that looks an awful lot like Rumble the Yordle from the game there! Ha

What's funny is I have the SDCC Sent version, which is in my closet still sealed in it's package that I won't open, but I'm really hoping I have the chance to spend an extra $30 to get one that comes in a less desireable package just so I can have an open one.

..or I could open the one I own, that's doing me no good in my closet, for free.

Blob is an ok figure imo. He's hallow and pretty light. More of a statue piece. I got him for a decent price from an arker here but ebay prices can be up there. Happy hunting.

got em from these blind boxed Devil May Cry figurines from Kaiyodo/Takara. I believe the Marionettes came with 1 gunshot splatter effect and 1 sword splatter each.

I mainly use a dark construction paper backdrop, heavy use of the close up focus macro on my camera, my white work lamp, and some Photoshop to color correct and make things more contrasty. also the use of stands and flight stands to get the figures into dynamic poses.
