Sweet man my brother and I have 2 rooms empty in our house right now but we are looking to rent one out to one of our friends and the other is gonna be a mini guest room, I want to make one a freaking toy room but alas we made a deal that unless one of us puts more towards the mortgage we cant each claim that extra room. The spare has gotta be a room for the both of us. Boooooo! lol

So I went back to the same walmart today since I noticed yesterday's stash was a bit low. Low and behold, there they were, the new wave. They only had one of each and an extra namor and darkhawk. I picked up a namor for Greenskar and left the extra darkhawk. As soon as I put it down, someone else came and grabbed him. He saw me holding on the rest of them and I apologized for nabbing them buti was only getting one of each. I just got there right on time. I'm stoked. I appreciate the heads up from ronin that these were being released at walmart.

Very nice score man!!!! I need my set now!!

As I was standing in line, I canceled my bbts preorder. I opened up steve rogers and x 23. Both really great molds. X-23 mold has great articulation for the woman bust. I noticed she is a bit tall though. I'm going to work on her custom foot claws and the translucent shield for commander rogers. I'll open up the other figures after I get out of work so it gives me something to look forward to at the end of my day.

Dude, didn't you just get a BBTS shipment like a day or two ago? If so, you need to take advantage of their PoL, man.

Thats a huge stress reliever man sometimes after work ill just go to TRU to browse the toy isle and pic up something if I open it and later decide, "its cool but not my cup o tea Ill give it to my younger cousin.

Speaking of stress relief my fiance recently introduced me to the Disney channel lol I usually catch sunday nights lineup of Silver Surfer, Iron Man, Hulk, XMen,and Amazing.abd Unlimited Spide-Man, but she introduced me to Good Luck Charlie and Pheneas and Pherb. Im 28 and show like this really are stress relievers, takes you back to the carefree days of your youth

So yeah if I see something that catches my eye like a new figure or figures and for some reason I don't have my debit card with me fuck yes I get that shit and take it a few aisles over and hide it. BUT I do come back and get it that same day..

That's pretty much my case. Though I hardly ever forget my wallet, I do forget my Debit card at times. There were two cases where I forgot my card at home or something. And honestly that's when I started hiding stuff.

First case: I was about to pick up the Gigantic Battles Frost Giant/Loki pack at my Wal-Mart, but realized I forgot my card, so I stashed it, got my card at home and came back and bought it the same day.

Second case: The same Wal-Mart just got some fresh stock of PoC GI Joe figures (basically just one nice long peg filled to the very end). Lo and behold, I forgot I lent my card to my mom. Had to go back home to retrieve it. I didn't stash anything this time though, 'cause again, it was a whole peg full. I came back a half hour later - the whole damn peg's worth of Joes were gone! Y'know I really would like to see the glass half full and think that it might've been a fellow collector who was really into army building. But I was more prone to see the glass half empty at that point and assumed it was a scalper. You have to admit that that is not normal....

So yeah, that's when I started hiding things I really wanted that could just disappear later, but like I said I'll stop now and quit being "dickish" as some may call it. I'll stop interrupting this thread now - sorry.

Rarely do I hide somthing, but I have once that I recall. It was the beginning of the Blade/Red Hulk wave in the early days and I found Blade, but I didnt have the money for him for whatever reason. I knew I could buy him tomorrow. So I hid him in the one place nobody looks. Under the Bike Display in the Bicycle Area.
returned the next day and purchased him

I just read the new carnage book and I love the artwork. The artist is the same guy who did the x force series with bastion. I wanted to do some displays with my mu.

The brotherhood. Hasbro needs to come out with Pyro, Toad, Blob and maybe Avalanche.

Ooh, is that the TPB or HC?? (sorry, can't really tell) - how much was it. I only have the first two Carnage issues. I loved Crain's artwork, except his art totally when downhill during the Necrosha arc, it was practically indecipherable - couldn't tell what was going on. But I have to guess that he was being rushed obviously.

MAN THATS AN AWESOME XAVIER!!! I was really expecting that the Tony Stark MU was going to release would be wearing a Suit so I could make a Xavier Custom... but it is just a Xtremis Armor with a New Head... And the Comic Con Destro is too expensive... and comes with a silly medieval guy!

Those are great. And fantastic... now I need to track down an Onslaught again. haha.

I agree on the rest of those brotherhood figures. But, for Blob I just bought a Toy Biz one because I liked how Ninja Assassin has him displayed.

Quick question, does anyone know if the Marvel Select Dark Phoenix stands foot holes can hold up Marvel Universe Dark Phoenix? I think that would look great, but not sure if it would work.

Don't know about the Marvel Select version, but the Marvel Legends Phoenix stand works perfectly with the Marvel Universe version.

Yeah, made a thread last week asking about both. Got some pics of what you just mentioned. But, didn't get any of the Marvel Select stand. I agree, the Legends one does look good. I just remember the Select stand being so much bigger and more... fiery... looking :)
