Thanks! I ordered one so hopefully it will actually be in stock when they pick my order.

I think they're just saving Luke Cage and Iron Fist for the inevitable Wave 2, along with perhaps Colleen Wing, Kingpin and others (Diamondback?)

Those are my thoughts as well...
Diamondback would be cool..even though I'd actually prefer Cottonmouth...though that's unlikely.

They should Definitely make Kingpin (Netflix version)..shiiid, i'd take a comic version of him too!!

SIDENOTE: does anyone know...if you block someone, does it block when people quote something they have said as well?

Not on Toyark. I know that TFW2005 did implement that function for blocked/ignored users.

Cage also showed up in those MK books partnered with DD and Moonknight, but you're right about him not having his own title. The MK line featured a weird hodgepodge of heroes including Sentry, Black Panther, FF, Dagger, Dr Strange, Black Widow, a Nick Fury LMD (??? lol), etc. I know people consider the line to be focused on 'street level characters,' but it represented a more diversified collection than that. The approach was similar to the later 'Marvel Max' titles (I preferred this brand to the MKs) which were also all over the place.

I already had that thought! Taking my extra Punisher head and sticking on that body! I am sure it will have the Old Man Logan neck ball though where they are not compatible

Augustus_Cole 06-15-2017 12:03 PM

i heard
Thor Wavey:

MCU Thor
MCU Loki
Hela
Thor (female)
Odinson

Executioner = BAF

From all the reports it's still "Unconfirmed or Unannounced" but in a MarvelousNews article (i think) when they were talking about the SDCC set they called Ulik a BAF... that makes me think he might be the BAF for the Thor wave like they did with the other larger SDCC figures like Dormammu and Sandman and Abomination... I hope not -since I plan on getting the SDCC set- but following their trend for the last could SDCC sets I wouldn't be surprised. (A new Gladiator Hulk would be awesome though)

Wasn't there also supposed to be a Thor 2 pack to go along with the wave?

A Thor: Ragnarok 2-pack exclusive fot Target was mentioned at Toyfair, but it's currently unknown which scale it falls into after the whole MvC mix-up.

Sounds about right...and yeah, the scuttlebutt I've read is that Planet Hulk MCU Hulk might be the BAF of a second wave. WOO HOO!! "HULK FEET!"

Captain Nash 06-15-2017 12:43 PM

Oh right, the Executioner is the assumed BAF thanks all. I knew we had gotten the rumor but it slipped my mind. Honestly even even if I like the SDCC version of the figures more than wave figures, I'll get the wave as well because of Executioner. If it's Ares, Ulik probably not (those have at some time been rumored I think) and if it's Hulk I probably will but not 100% sure.

I hope it is Executioner, he's my favorite of those listed since I already have the Ares.

Hah! "Get on the 'Hulk' foot!" I'm sure the immortal James Brown wouldn't mind my slight tweak and appropriation of his classic.

No, what they said was, and I quote:

"SDCC Ulik figure uses some parts from the Rhino BAF."

Meaning that Ulik isn't specifically a BAF, he's just using the Rhino/Abomination BAF as a base.

Considering all the scuttlebutt we've been hearing about Executioner, I'm willing to bet he's the BAF.

SymbiSpidey 06-15-2017 01:29 PM

They had a Spider-Man endcap at my local Wal-Mart....Too bad it's filled with those crappy 5 POA 12 inch figires....*sigh*

donmeca2020 06-15-2017 01:35 PM

After seeing the wave version of odinson, it's safe to say i want the SDCC version.

As for Man-Thing, i want him. He's another oddball marvel character that i would having.

TheBlueMarvel 06-15-2017 01:37 PM

Wait...there are supposed to be 2 Thor waves, right?

That was a rumor from somewhere at some point yes, and I absolutely think they should have two thor waves, but I'm guessing it's just the one.

lol...damn...one near me had the exact same thing...and i mean..there were TONS of them. Nice variety though...for anyone that actually buys those things..

TheBlueMarvel 06-15-2017 02:06 PM

Thank you, Nash...getting on in my years...my short term memory is shot. :p

Ha I know the feeling. There's been so many rumors on this wave though it's hard to keep up.

Side note to open forum, I know it's a month away but the big question on my mind is : Is this rumored Deadpool wave the X-Men wave for 2018 or is there a separate? The answer could make or break SDCC for me.

The 4" scale Thor two pack (comic Executioner and Enchantress) was revealed as being not store exclusive so if they ever made mention of a Thor Target exclusive 6" pack then that might be something else entirely which could still happen.
