Was a long time ago..at least i THINK that's the way it went down.

Yes he did !!! If i recall that was in the mcfarlane day back when he did the spider man series I literally just saw that image on google the other day.

I like that new Moon Knight, but I haven't determined how much yet. I got it, roughly a week ago, along with the Beetle/Tombstone/Captain Universe/Adam Warlock/Death's Head II/Ex Nihilo (my luck was amazing in finding and winning 2 eBay lots with exactly the figs I wanted from both waves - sans MCU figs, which I don't collect anymore). There's something about the flat/matte black that I both like and don't like. This is going to sound silly on the heels of receiving a freshly minted Moon Knight, but I sort of want a Mr. Knight fig now.

I definitely would have preferred a Mr Knight figure over this slipper suit. Yeah this suit is closer to his classic design but a toy of his classic design would have been better than this. My problem with this suit (aside from disliking the pattern) is that it hardly even exists in the comics. Of Moon Knight's last 31 or so issues in his own series it's only shown up like 8 times and sometimes only briefly. It seems like the main place where this costume exists is in other media like the cartoons and toys. Maybe Select will do Mr Knight which would probably be better than Hasbro's attempt since Select wouldn't shy away from giving us bloody pieces to match the material.

I wonder how a figuarts Smooth criminal figure would work as a base for Moon Knight.... haven't seen one next to an ML before. Probably too small I would think

Thanks for the background on the suit. I knew it was attempting to nod at his original suit, but I couldn't place it among his various costumed appearances through the years. I'm much more familiar with Mr. Knight as a modern look for Marc. I haven't read the run, but the look is very striking. Were Moon Knight to show up in the MCU, I'd want it to be in his Mr. Knight getup. Now if we could just get a new Jack Russell, so I could get some classic match-up displays going featuring the two...

If rumors turn to out to be true and Moon Knight is part of Netflix's next line-up then I think the Mr Knight suit would definitely be the more striking and unique look while also being more realistic/easier to pull off than the classic cape n' cowl. Plus it'd be very easy for him to get his suit from Potter very much like how Kingpin was, it would just appear like another standard order compared to Daredevil's suit.

It feels like they could re-use a number of Jackal's parts as a good base for a classic Werewolf by Night. Doing him would also be a nice follow up to Blade, Morbius, and Man-Thing so we could get a nice monsters team going.

I haven't read of any rumors regarding Moon Knight and Netflix, but I don't do 'super-TV,' so it's not like I was looking. That would be very cool and I might just tune-in for a Marc Spector live-action debut.

I do think we are rounding out our Marvel Monster contingent pretty nicely. I'm jones'ing hard for a Baron Blood to compliment my Cap and Union Jack (another monster related character who needs an update). I agree that Jackal could make a great base for Jack. Let's hope...

Damn Riddick, nice display.

Spyne98 06-17-2017 06:42 PM

Wow Riddick! Sweet set up!

Dr Kain 06-17-2017 06:45 PM

Sigh. I finally went to like 4 Walgreens today and not a single one had IW. One of them had 8 DareDevils and the Hulkbuster wave.

Don't feel bad, i have yet to find a clean paint Punisher. they all seem to have blemishes in the skulls paint.

Wish I had money to go to Disneyland :(

Boy Blunder 06-17-2017 08:27 PM

I didn't know Phoenix was a running change BAF for the Doctor Strange wave.

Incredibly awesome Punisher armory dio! He's more than ready to wage war on crime or is equally ready for a zombie apocalypse

MeLikeJinx 06-18-2017 07:01 AM

Looks like somebody is gonna buy the Dark Phoenix 2 pack. I would rather have a 2nd head of any kind rather than a BAF piece I will never use/complete though.

And that Punisher armory reminds me of the rec room from Tremors.

I was at Wal-Mart last night, returning the Homecoming figures I picked up and the cashier at the customer service counter not only checked the tape on the sides of the box, she compared the figures to the pics on the back of the box. I asked her about it and she said management wants them to verify that the figures are the right ones and that the boxes had never been opened.

Good! It's about time they start checking.

Thanks in advance :)

That's an interesting question that I've wondered about myself. I haven't been able to find any info, but here's a comprehensive page from Marvellegends.net (which was down for a period, but rumors of its death proved untrue) that lists all figs - prior to RoML, that is - with their individual and studio sculptors:
