LOL,we will have to rename him the "cub" jew.bucky is tiny :)

JanSolo 03-05-2013 01:32 PM

True maybe Namor then he's pretty big. I guess Bucky would be the Little Man to Cap's Apache, which really makes me want to see Zemo as the Jew Hunter.

I just had a theory I wonder about testing for anyone living in a place with multiple Targets, Walmarts, or TRUs that have pegwarmers just sitting around.

Here's the idea. What if you were to go to Target for example that had like 10 Gladiators, you were to buy all of them, then return them to another Target. Would the 1st Target now emptied of its MU pegwarmers be more likely to order more MUs? I mean, the POS should register as it finally being all sold out, right?

Just curious if this would at all be something worth trying out (assuming someone had the money to shell out for the original purchase).

I have heard of people doing this. Makes since that it would work. I have spent the last year thinking about doing this with the seven Gladiators at my WM. It's all they have had for a year and as long as the seven are sitting there it is apparently all they will have.

Yes, this does work, although most people are hesitant to do this, as you do have to buy all the product, and then wait for the refund. But if you buy all the product their system will reorder things, be careful thou as most will ,ost likely just get revision cases to fill the pegs

kylactus 03-05-2013 06:34 PM

or worse yet the space will probably be devoured by some other crappy shelf packing product.

JanSolo 03-05-2013 06:39 PM

I don't know how I feel about that Then you're guaranteeing one store will be lousy with peg warmers. Also it'd be pretty awkward returning 15 Gladiators 'It was my Birthday and everyone got me the same thing. Can you believe it?'. I'd be cooler with an over a period of time operation spreading them out while emptying one store's pegs to be hopefully refiled by something different. That would also suck if you did all that and it didn't work out.

True, I think it'd work reasonably in a place where there are alot of the store. I live in LA and the trip to work I pass about 6 Targets. Just thinking in theory if all those Gladiators and Falcons were at least consolidated, I might see some new product.

Then again, out here with scalpers, I'd still probably never see any. lol

peg warmers in my area, 1 walmart has a peg of namor and another of absorbing man, both targets have 1 pegs of falcon and 1 of gladiator

skier352 03-07-2013 09:19 PM

If you like the character. He peg warms everywhere but I like the character and he's actually a solid figure.

Sweet, thank you. Pics like yours and some peeps on here inspire me to wanna start taking some more of my stuff. I have a lightbox and everything that they gave me at work, but alas, I never have the freakin' time to just go nuts and have fun with it.
