Sad trumpet plays.......

Whump whump whump.....whuuuuuuuump

ukmu 06-06-2017 11:46 AM

Out of the 50+ ML 6" figures each year, at least we can still hope for ONE every other year to fudge into our scale..... so, there is still that.

Yeah but you have to buy half a dozen 6" inch turds to build it usually :(

LordMudd 06-06-2017 12:53 PM

or go to ebay.

CCC.

ukmu 06-06-2017 01:03 PM

Or buy them, swap the BAF parts out for Star Wars plushies and hotdogs, return the ML to the store for a full refund, keep and assemble the BAF and you get it for free!

Universe 06-06-2017 01:24 PM

I never buy my Legends without hotdogs.

Sure if you wanna pay an arm and a leg. Granted there's no real way of avoiding that.

We've all seen some CRAZY swapping of BAF parts but I recently saw a hotdog swap. Pretty sure it was a joke shot but still. I know that is a BIG problem in that collecting community. I wouldn't do it, but like to look at the pics...it is a guilty pleasure.

The PC term is wiener...

Speaking of which, I want a marina baccarin (or comic series) copycat. That woman pays an ass load of child support, some lucky guy knocked her up

Hey everyone, I just got this custom today in my never ending quest to finding a truly satisfying 3.75 Wolverine and though I like it I have a problem with the claws. The wrist just seems like it is going to pop out every time I try and get him in a pose where he would be bending his wrist to flash his claws. Is there a pain free way I could modify his wrist joint so I can get the poses I want out of him? Thank you for your time.

Jordan

p.s I am here all the time just don't post much. I am hoping to start sharing my ACBA and custom stuff more.

Your best bet is tracking down some new hands that have that hinge joint, paint them blue, and glue some claws on there.

Oscarv 06-07-2017 04:24 AM

We may still see some figures, we may not. I hope we do, even if they are poor, will grab them if I need them. That's a very good point, there are always some 6" legends that will scale well. Which have been the most recent of those offerings? Think I'm a bit behind on the newer ones. (I tend to just ignore legends waves/releases as it just makes me cry. Haha)

Not mine, just sharing knowledge.

Jurassic World head on MCU body.

Apparently, it is a perfect fit.

Thought it looked nice and you guys should know about it.

Never really been a fan of maskless/helmetless heroes and villains, don't know why. Much prefer them in their full get up. Does look nice though

Depending on your preferences, here are a few recent options:

Giant-man; from the MCU Ultron BAF(2015)
Wasp; from the MCU Ultron BAF(2015)
Red Onslaught BAF(2016) [Original Onslaught head included with Kitty Pryde from the Juggernaut BAF(2016)]
MCU Giant-man BAF(2016)
Dormammu BAF(2016)
Ms. Marvel; from the Sandman BAF(2017)

Pilkster 06-07-2017 08:34 AM

Still need to find dormammu for a good price

Oscarv 06-07-2017 09:56 AM

The new Ms marvel is a size changer? Hmmmmm. So incredibly behind on recent marvel events/changes.

(And thank you for the list Mr Fox)

Anyone have any more??? I have this strange need to keep purchasing figures that scale with 3.75". Not sure what that's all about. Haha

I prefer the Toy Biz stuff. Still, some real winners in that list though.

MUfan97 06-07-2017 10:07 AM

Just checked Amazon. The Sinister 6 pack just went up to $99.99. Does this mean it's not selling well, or that it IS selling well?

Oscarv 06-07-2017 10:19 AM

Probably that it is selling well? Supply/demand

Lionheart 06-07-2017 11:47 AM

That set is not worth $100 by any stretch of the imagination.

EDIT: And now the Amazon page isn't opening.

MUfan97 06-07-2017 02:45 PM

We ridiculed it, but holy crap, people actually are buying it up!

Lionheart 06-07-2017 03:08 PM

Well, it doesn't say 'limited' or anything, so maybe if peeps buy lots of them Amazon will keep getting a ton in, and then the price might flatline! We can dream...

EDIT: The page is opening now.
