They're making a 2017 Movie Red Ranger helmet that will be on sale in the fall. That might bode well for future helmets. We'll see. Legacy items seems to sell decently as they keep making new items. There is another company doing high end helmets, but they're doing Green first.

This arrived today from Amazon. I was lucky enough to get one for $19.99 prime back on the 21st but it was back-ordered so it just now showed up.

Dayglo Orange is so 90s, yet I love all these 90s things.

The original yellow BATS will always be superior imo, but the last gasp 90s output of ARAH sort of grows on me like the G2 Transformers. I accept that it's a thing and that it's not horrible, plus the 90s aesthetic has made me a bit sentimental for this time when reboots weren't full on re-imaginings of everything but just slapping neon and funky graphics on everything and calling it a new thing.

And since everything that is black and some neon color always reminds me of Galoob's Trash Bag Bunch, I count that as a plus. Plus I have sort of a soft spot for early 90s eco-war action figure lines like Captain Planet, Kenner Swamp Thing, Toxic Crusaders, etc. So, good on ya!

Found these at a neat little toy store that's not in my local area. They were each clearance priced at half off so I got both for the price of one. Tyrael is one of my favorite Diablo characters and except that he probably could've been a bit bigger I think NECA still nailed it with this figure. When he was still new I remember a lot of people were complaining about how they didn't do his wings but again to me how exactly were they supposed to make a physical version of what are in the game flowing ribbons of light? It could have been done but it wouldn't quite look right and it would probably force them to upgrade his packaging size to accommodate the length. Nova isn't a character that I'm fond of but I love Starcraft too much to skip on a Ghost at this price. It's a solid figure and I do really like the alternate left hand.

I really hope I'm able to find one of these soon, although I'm afraid it will be along the lines of the Black series Darth Revan, and I'll never even see one in person, I'd rather not pay scalper prices.

For the wings, I think they could've used the clear-ish white plastic with an inner bendable wire.

There's a number of things they could have done for sure but the problem is he has like 6 things on each side and like I mentioned before they're pretty long and fluid. To keep him in the same price range and box as the other regular figures it made sense to me to exclude his wings. I'd imagine there are some cool customs out there where people made the wings themselves.

I have been looking for that base at a decent price for years now. If you ever want to trade it let me know.

TRU restocked their exclusive Wonder Woman and had a $5 off sale on all multiverse figures so I went ahead and picked one up. I like the figure well enough as a toy and I do think it looks a lot better than Mattel's other movie figures, the articulation is of course still kinda dated. Then I popped on over to Gamestop and they had the black series Royal Guard and the new legends Rocket Raccoon. It was neat of Hasbro to make the body under the robes based on the old Dark Horse comics but I'm sticking the classic covered look, it's mysterious and I dig it. Rocket is definitely small for a full priced toy and the fact that his only weapons are small pistols exacerbates this issue, Hasbro really should have included his rifle from the movie and anything else they could have to helped justify things (Mantis' torso shouldn't count) but overall I do like having an articulated 6" scale Rocket.

This week has been rough on the wallet. ( And last Thursday also, was able to snag 2 of the NECA SDCC TMNT sets from their pre sale) Gamestop finally got in all my Royal Guards and Lando I had pre ordered. Entertainment Earth got in Baze and Chirrut I had pre ordered. Wal mart got in more cases of the wave 2 40th SW Black. Gamestop got in the first 3 figures of the new Ban Dai Dragon Stars 6 inch figures, I bought Beerus. A Vintage stock marked Animated Poison Ivy half off ( She was one I had not picked up yet). Big Lots had the Heart Foundation for 10$( Classic WWF is a weak spot for me). And to top it all off, I had to run across KC to snag a Dark Phoenix 2 pack. I had the Independence TRU check their inventory and had them call and hold a 2 pack for me at the Overland Park TRU across town. Last one they had and 30 minutes on the road later and it was mine.

Yeah, the last 2 weeks or so have been a serious money vacuum. Prometheus lost wave, 6 figure bundle to join the Alien club, series 12 preorder, and SDCC Dutch, Xeno, and Turtles. Over $600. That's just on NECA. I've also gotten the Mezco stylized Pinhead, McFarlane Negan, and DCC's CW Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Constantine, & Vixen. Who needs to eat, right?

Maybe I'll get a break soon. Oh wait, Predator 30th & Covenant are coming real soon. Sheesh.
