It got dirty and I wasn't even involved... I'm proud and disappointed in myself :/
I will back anything that hasbro throws out in our scale, as long as it's NEW. New doesn't mean a repaint, that's not new, thats a repaint. It's poor, lazy and disrespectful. However, parts swaps of existing releases + repaint = new figure. More than happy to throw my cash at hasbro for something like that. Packaging matters little to me, one of the highlights of collecting for me is opening the packages. If you pop the figures out from the back, while looking at the front, it looks like they are being born/released. Such a nice moment in life. Cool if it's just another army builder, but when it's a fresh character, with decent articulation, makes it all the more special. |

Seriously though, 4" is a much better scale. We can borrow from countless other lines and scales, can fit more in the space we have, detail is better, more part swapping options. Actually, would like to hear the responses if you asked this question on a legends thread.... |
Now these kind of comments, really piss me off;

Oscar.... Some of the 6" collectors can be real dicks. Why can't both exist at the same time? 80% are just fair weather fans anyway, they will jump when it shifts again. I absolutely Hate when a new 3.75" lime comes out on the front page and some idiot has to be "these look good too bad they are not six inch"
They can all the new stuff, they can all the cool stuff, they can all of Hasbros attention, they can have all the fans... Keep it. I would take our small community ANY day of the week. I enjoy each post I read here and regard you guys as friends. Great stuff SithLord and Pilk. Very honoured to own one this time. I need an Attuma in my life. What a great looking round this time. Pre congratulations on post 1000 |

So I found this Hulk lot on cBay a bit ago, and I noticed that Rulk had differently colored pants. Considering that I didn't have the green Hulk in this set, I decided to go for it. I guess I wasn't really paying a lot of attention, thinking they were just regular bootlegs or castoffs, but it turns out they're all 5 PoA! I was gonna use Compound and Gray Hulks for customs, but now I kinda wanna keep them all, even if C. Hulk's got some sloppy painting. |
Pilky those are kick ass. Nate grey, shikla ( assuming its her ) adam warlock & genis vel are my faves outta that batch.

So all 3.75" carded toys should mutate to a "vintage" design to attract a greater demographic. Print a more retro "Supply" to re-kindle their "Demand" / interest. It'll be interesting to see new figures (Jewel, AoA Magneto, Hydra Cap) on a "vintage" cardback. One reviewer on Amazon said the "package is so nice you almost want to not open it." The poor reviewer / potential Millennial, now has to buy doubles! That's twice-as-good for Hasbro business. Good for the line's continuing existence. Good for all, each generation. http://www.justaletter.com/wp-conten...s-1000x500.jpg |

Don't get me wrong, I like your enthusiasm and if a Toybiz cardback got us some new waves - great, but I don't think it will be the winner you think it is for general retail, and I'm still not convinced that Millennials will be spending their money on 4 inch action figures when the pool of options is so large. Looking around these forums I would say that the 4 inch line is sustained more by those Gen X'ers that gew up with Star Wars and GI Joe than anything else. But I'm guessing. Anything that would get new figures out would be a good thing. Quote:

I'd give the one in the middle the best three minutes of her life!!!!
I like the idea of a retro line. Maybe ran alongside the main line like a movie line used to be. |
