Absolutely thrilled at the Thor wave (well, outside of Jane Foster, ugh). I'll probably order a case from BBTS depending on who the double is just to save myself the hassle and save a bit of cash.

it's crazy that here we are late June and we've had 5 full waves out, and we maybe have seen everything already for the next six months, and SDCC hasn't even happened yet! |

...all that said, there'd be no reason to skip this BAF based on my preference for comic canon. Not only does this Hulk bear little resemblance to Ruffalo (IMO..or at least a 'lesser than' resemblance than the MCU Hulks prior to), but there were so many interpretations of World Breaker Hulk that this version is easily accepted as a stand-in. Were Hasbro to offer a comic Green Scar, the only thing I could see them changing is dropping the overkill tats... Quote:

This entire wave looks like a complete bore except for gladiator hulk. I can easily say this wave is a pass for me...
So what happened to the odinson wave ? I realize one was an sdcc exclusive but there was another Thor wave I recall seeing. |

The MJ/Spdey two pack Peter Parker head though DOES NOT fit onto the Homecoming body. The hole dremeled into the head is far too big, and the head just sits loose with no sort of tension onto the body, and will fall off if you try to move the figure in any way. It also looks a little big. If you want an unmasked head without picking up the Tom Holland head, the Ultimate Spidey head is your best bet. I should mention that while I don't have a picture, the Miles Morales head also works on the Homecoming body, if that's a look you'd prefer for Miles. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...629_164945.jpg On the subject of the new Thor wave...I'm really not feeling this one, as there is just one too many movie figures for my liking. Normally that isn't an issue, however I really don't like the character designs (or casting decisions in the case of Valkyrie) for the film, which is where the issue for me lies. I'll probably pick up Hela just because it's a great looking figure, is another MCU villain, and I feel is accurate enough to the comic look that it'll fit in just as well with those figures. Ares is a must, as I was never able to complete the BAF and traded away most of my BAF parts to it a few years ago. I know I'm gonna draw some ire, but this feels like a pretty weak wave to me considering the home runs that Hasbro has hit with the last 4 or 5 waves. |

Nice wave for the Thor movie.
I fully expect to never find a Hela figure in the wild, and Valkarie to peg warm for eternity. |
That Spider-Man head really looks like Topher Grace.

Just picked up the Dark Phoenix 2 pack at the MMurfreesboro, TN Toys R Us. For anyone in the area, there are 3 left. They're located behind the 3.75" Civil War Falcon.
