@DTL I dont remember Kurt Russell ever "shredding the gnar." Is he street or more of a bowl/transition guy?

Got Punisher at Gamestop the other day and then got the Jessica Jones and Bullseye at Walmart the next day, also found Cosmos at the Walmart. I'm happy that they repacked this Cosmos since I didn't get the first release.

oh maybe you didn't stay for the credits AFTER the credits after the credits. He proved he's more versatile showing he could ollie, nollie, grind, do kick flips, and transition well over the bowl.
((moves i only know the name of from playing tons of Tony Hawk some years back, in its hayday))

another thing i noticed on hulk is that his muscles are streamlined and not bulky like the icons hulk

Yeah, they striated every muscle to make up for the lack of bulkiness and imo it doesn't look too hot. I prefer Icon Hulks by far even if he looks a bit tumorous.

I was finally able to round out my Spiderman Homecoming set thanks to my LCS and I paid the same price at retail!; really love that place.

Also, because they were cheap, I decided to get the Abomination BAF set from Amazon. I really hate filler figures, but maybe the BAF will be worth it.

Here's some stuff from my pile of Loot at BITS and a few recent retail finds.

Marvel Legends Rocket Racoon and TRU Exclusive Groot, Animated Series Batgirl, Bombshells Wonder Woman, Hot Wheels 1:50 scale Justice League Batmobile, Funko Rock Candy Ellen Ripley, Neca Ultimate Gizmo and a couple of video game Batmobiles with a blueish metallic finish.

I generally dislike Pops, their overly simplified aesthetic is the big turn-off. I've only ever gotten two before now and those were the Big Daddy and Songbird from Bioshock, I got them because they don't much look like other Pops (larger size aside). I picked up the Brumak from Gears of War here because like the previously mentioned two it doesn't really look like a Pop as much as it is just a cutesy rendition. I'm definitely no expert on the matter but this adorable little fella might be the most sculpt work I've ever seen on a Pop figurine. It was only $15 so given its size and overall quality I'm quite pleased to have a cute lil' Brumak.

Augustus_Cole 08-13-2017 02:26 AM

funny...i hate pops too..only now i own 17 of them...ha

nice find on that Brumak

i was actually looking for THAT particular one yesterday because stores were having sales on them. However it was not to be found. I was also looking for Clayton Carmine. Ended up with the Cole Train.

yesterday me =

I guess you could look at him as being... stellar.

Definitely one of my most wanted of the little guys they've been doing lately because I really liked his corny Russian accent and adorkable perosnality back in those early-ish episodes when he was more of a recurring Autobot.

Dr Kain 08-13-2017 10:44 PM

Not going to bother posting a picture, but I picked up Cassian from Rogue One at Target today for $2. I figured for that price he would make a great addition to my "random by standers" bin for pictures. He's now chilling with Gotham Gordan, Gotham Selena, Gotham Bullock, Batman Begins Liam Neeson, Netflix Punisher, etc.

Didn't McFarlane plan on releasing a second head for Glenn, in this set ?
I seem to remember people being offended/angry/whatever that it as so gruesome.
Was that head scrapped, or did it come with another figure of Glenn ?

Personally, if I collected the Walking Dead line, and if I were to display Glenn and Negan together, I'd want to display the gory version of Glenn, after Negan gave him what he had coming :p

SpasticPlastic 08-14-2017 07:26 AM

I believe AMC nixed the bashed head.

Team Jetfire 08-14-2017 07:44 AM

Oops... wrong place.

that's the comic versions 2-pack...not the TV versions.

Like I said, I bought him for canonfodder. I need bodies or victims for the likes or Morbius, Punisher, Man-Thing, gangsters for Spider-Man to beat up, etc.
