Where have we had any evidence skimpy outfits are a limiting factor in figures? Not to mention Black Cat isn't exactly skimpy. It's only obscene if some juvenile 13 year old comic book artist who's never seen a woman in his life and only gets off on comic books draws her. They can most certainly release one with a normal belly baring outfit. We got X-23 and Storm (as in bare bellies), after all. Black Cat's outfit shows no more skin than the two Storm figures we've gotten. Hell, it shows less.

Same with Emma Frost. She has plenty of normal costumes to choose from that aren't that ridiculous X symbol one.

The reason we haven't gotten a lot of female figures until now is the same issue every line faces. The ones making the decisions insist females don't sell (based on old data from toy lines like Turtles and GI Joe, where there's only ONE female character anyone wants). Then after a few years of data, we start getting them. Just look how many are in this year's assortments already. Two in one wave every other wave is rather unheard of.

The same thing happened to the Simpsons line. Playmates insisted on nothing but Bart and Homer, until they finally convinced them that fans wanted other characters.

If Namor can strut around in a speedo, hasbro, or anyone else has no argument against semi revealing female costumes.

Old hasbro Q&A's for Star Wars for the Hasbro policy. Which really never made sense. (No Leia, but an obscure Padme dress?)

As for my Simpsons statement: Michael Crawford's Review of the Week

But basically, I'd like a source for this "No cleavage" statement that keeps getting tossed around. Because it's certainly not accurate. Yes there's a few costumes that are absurd, but most of them would look fine if done with some class. Dagger, for example, doesn't need pasties covering her nipples and a Brazilian wax. Her dagger cut out works just as well on the top of the breasts (look at the punk Storm figure for how low they'll make a shirt) and stopping at her navel. (Also exposed on two figures)

Wouldn't be such an issue if we could get stands. Can't believe how much we pay for these things and they cant even throw in a stand. And why they can't at least offer them online. A ten pack for whatever price they feel like overcharging us. I love this line but I just can't believe how many corners they cut.:mad2

GERRILLIUS 07-11-2012 02:05 PM

In texas...good. they're coming close.

Has anyone confirmed those showing up at Marshall's too?
I think TJM/Marshall's are bro/sis companies, but havn't heard about them there yet.

I loved the Star Wars ones with the labels for all figures released in the previous 3 years at the time. (and a few ones that weren't even announced yet) I'd love a similar set of blank Marvel ones with number and name stickers.

even on low res camera phone shots those packs look cool, good to see she hulk even though she is packaged with wolvie.

That FF Doom and Spidey pack is top of the list for me though.

LOL...agreed...aren't all phone cameras atleast 6mp by now? A polaroid would be clearer! :D

bmorr 07-11-2012 02:33 PM

the sad part there is no need for me to get ANY of those two packs. All i want is she hulk. Also who is paired with Cap? I cant even tell, and spidey looks he has a negative of his FF costume.
