Crystal looks great! I just got Lockjaw yesterday. I dig him a lot. I am gonna do that to Gorgon as well, also might put Juggernaut arms on him. Thinking about sculpting entire new lower legs.

Sources also tell me that they are delaying waves fry :) to sort out the ChinaBay issues of leaked figures. That has gummed up the works and trying to resolve that.

Another source, last week, told me to expect the diorama next year to return as well. Been slowly gathering Intel until had enough to release. CONFIRMED information as well.

I called it! In another thread though, that the Hasbro sdcc announcement releases were very minuscule and that they must have been waiting for their own Hascon, which makes sense...Also that's what happens when you have your factories in China...the land of king of KO's.

I hope whatever changes they make are impactful and can breathe new life in the line. The series has grown stale in my area with only a handful of locations that actually carry the line. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the lowdown, Ukmu!!

Oh Thank goodness it's the 12 inch and not those horrid titan ones :P

A very small amount made it to retail (seemingly only Target) but not much and then Hasbro elected to pull the wave entirely. Online retailers very soon then cancelled all pre-orders for the wave. Still no word officially as to whether that wave will ever release later or if the waves shown as coming after (AoA Magneto, Jessica Jones, etc.) are also just cancelled.

Yeah thankfully I saw the entire wave at Target and snagged them and they were on sale too back then...it seems like a life time ago haha.

That's the only one I ever saw too, though it's not actually Iron-Heart it's supposed to be Tony from the ANAD Avengers/Invincible Iron Man.

i think so. Hasbro threw us a bone, a big one at that. we're talking about SKURGE. Finally.

I've even snagged a whole bunch of digital copies of the Offical Marvel Handbooks just so I can go scouring for random characters without having to jump online.

As for myself, I'm in the game for as long as I can get parts and paint with a steady hand. I enjoy the hobby more being creative with it. Each figure I make is like a little work of art. Plus, it gives me something to do when I'm bored and don't want to go out. :D

Keep up the great work, guys! It certainly shows your commitment & creativity to the Marvel Universe, producing those obscure and often forgotten one-hit wonders. i, for one, find myself looking at your customs and saying "i totally forgot about that guy".

Thank you. Tje castle is taking a back seat at the moment got a lot on with orders and 5 new puppies to look after until they are sold. (Started breeding my Shar Pei) plus im not sure im happy with using the wood. The detail is nice but it seems to thin to be a wall to me. So I might go the thick foam route and do a exact copy of the doom castle layout and add my own detail and extras simce mine is a Hydra castle. The base, underground amd dock are ready to be painted. Just the castle and the grounds to go

Jackieboy 06-28-2017 03:25 AM

im being optimistic about things in 3.75sville seeing as 2 packs are a thing again with skurge and ego/quill pack on their way and a new gotg boxset.
hopefully we get some long needed figs next year,if hasbro feel the need to give us a new IM or spidey next year, then why not a spiderham or zombieverse spidey?pepper pots in a mark v armor or perhaps business suit tony?really have hopes pinned on seeing kingpin being revealed at some point.seen a kick ass custom somewhere else, the guy used elements of cain marko juggernaut and alfred from the DC 6" line.google search 3.75 custom kingpin you should find it(black tux).
also *spoiler alert* seeing as mac gargan, prowler and 2 shockers are in the new spidey movie.i wantz!

nothing but respect for sgt hartman but threatening to keep him away from his one and only jelly donut wasn't the wisest idea.

Ego/Quill? There is a 6'inch two pack. Is that what you meant?

yeah it was mentioned in a conversation regarding sdcc17 and what was happening with the line going into 2018.
another 3.75 collector mentioned that we were getting the ego/quill 2 pack.
now a pic was posted and to me personally they looked more in scale with legends but then again hasbro have killed it with head sculpts and whatnot for 3.75 in the past so lets wait and see!
@pilkster im trying to find a local art store that stocks foamboard but all i can seem to find is laminated foamboard :(
its a god aweful shame that silvanian families are not in scale with our line, lol!!!
@mordiganne,ill be in touch soon about a custom idea, just havent been able to put much thought into it lately.

Ebay have some good foam boards in good sizes but i want the wall to be thick so going to use insualtion foam board from B&Q quite cheap and comes in 2 thicknesses and 2 sizes.
Ive used the laminated for 1 or 2 things. Its good for dios that need a snand up back ground and not much detailing.

ReIssue 06-29-2017 05:07 AM

3.75" build-a-wing......sort of. Wanted a set of gigantic wings for homecoming vulture so I took the original 3.75 backpack and added the 12" electronic vultures wings (no easy feat as I had to use epoxy sculpt to support the wings at the connection!) then added 6" build a wing rotors and 1:18th vulture is flying!
