Think I used to have that Hulk in the back. It's got blue pants and does a punch when you squeeze his legs yeah? I loved that thing until his arm broke off. Had the Banner too. That move had some solid figures.

ukmu 06-29-2017 03:01 PM

I am in LOVE with that Kingpin. For me, I need his head REALLY small and tiny feet. I don't care too much about articulation on him, I mean how dynamic of a pose does he need. I plan in (and by planning, I really mean never get around to it) to take out about 3/4" of an inch or so of his legs just above the ankle. There is almost a perfect line already.

I kinda wanna do the same thing as I think he's a bit too tall.

ukmu 06-29-2017 03:03 PM

Which. PUNISHER.. any. Never had one. Just not the first one with the big goofy hands.

Il Cattivo 06-29-2017 03:21 PM

definitely get the one that uses the cyclops buck. I used to have the punisher/ironman two pack version. he was just ok.

ukmu 06-29-2017 03:33 PM

Which one is that?

snake5289 06-29-2017 03:36 PM

Best Punisher as far as I know.

One Per Case: Review: Marvel Universe Series 4 #13 – Punisher

Think he might be a bit pricey these days though. Haven't checked in a while.

Il Cattivo 06-29-2017 03:42 PM

yup that^ one

I remember seeing him in the wild quite a few times so he shouldn't be that rare.

snake5289 06-29-2017 03:59 PM

It was the opposite for me but I could probably say that for about 90% of MU figures.

ukmu 06-29-2017 04:12 PM

I was JUST looking at him on eBay tonight. I think he was about £15-£20. I will haggle a bit though, but I see him semi-often...at least I think I have seen him a bunch. Just kinda put him off because I know I will have to buy the A-Team van and most likely the Spawn Alley playset to go with him.

Didn't have a "place" for him anyway. Now though, with the new room coming slowly along, I have a bit of wall space for little mini diorama displays. Like a tiny little "floating" shelf with just Punisher, his van and a little background image...bam, Punisher shelf sorted. No need to mix in or find a team. I am liking the idea of the mini diorama displays everywhere. Punisher next to X-Men next to Cosmic next to Knights...and it all make sense and look like little world's unto themselves.

Well, that's the idea anyway.... we will see how they turn out. All that aside, sorted, that is my new Punisher. My son has wanted one for ages.

Hate posting via phone....my original post got eaten so in brief, the scale on 5-6 inch figures is way too large for most characters for me. Only that destroyer would work imo. The ml juggy is enormous compared to mu figures...in a bad way.

Il Cattivo 06-29-2017 05:39 PM

I like big juggs and I cannot lie

Thanks for the heads up.

i'm curious why. Less it is temporarily on sale for the movie premiere.

Pilkster 06-30-2017 01:09 AM

Is anyone else having issues with photobucket?

ukmu 06-30-2017 01:38 AM

Switch to IMGUR

I use both, find imgur better personally.

I can't do the big figures either. A tall character can only be a bit taller to me. That Kingpin DOES work however, you can't stand them next to each other. I put him up in the playset away from he rest and he looks amazing. When side by side the larger scale is instantly recognizable. If you move them around a bit and "fudge" it, maybe in a hole or other figures up on something then he works perfectly.

Like this.... I am gonna cut him down an inch or so this weekend. Head is in scale and the body looks like it should for old school. If there was something better, I would get it. The customs look like a super muscular dude with a TIGHT jacket and a giant head.

Hoping making him shorter does the trick....

ukmu 06-30-2017 01:46 AM

Also shortening Gorgon and Groot this weekend.

(Triple post.... +1000 points)

Ive used the laminated for 1 or 2 things. Its good for dios that need a snand up back ground and not much detailing.

i probably wouldnt order it online because of the risk of it getting damaged in transit.
have you seen those 40K citadel sets that gamesworkshop have, pricey as hell but ideal for 3.75" dios.ukmu would love these for his hydra/doom dios.

Jackieboy 06-30-2017 05:44 AM
