thanks bro,it was less hassle to add maestro arms and legs and just paint the torso, used graffiti pens to paint it with and i cant recommend those enough for customs.

Well, I meant more that I can justify getting 3 of them for an armybuild next to my Red Mouthed one. Just haven't done it since I'd feel like a jerk for army building a rarer figure, thus robbing someone of the chance to get the character.

Fair points there. I know I dislike it when I see people army-building rare or highly demanded toys. "Leave some for the rest of us" doesn't seem to have the same meaning to everyone. Different scale and license but I saw somebody had gotten like 6 or so of the Star Wars Black Series 6" Walmart exclusive Shocktrooper figures from Battlefront just to have a squad of them even though most everybody else was having a hard enough time just finding one of those things. For my Ultron backup forces I just picked up some of the 5-POA AoU figures when they were on sale because those guys were abundant at every store I went to.

Universe 07-01-2017 03:44 PM

Sick custom Jackieboy, I like the color scheme

$17 each with ZERO accessories, ZERO weapons, ZERO extra anything and no BAF pieces. No more figure stands, shite card art, and new and improved 1/3 less articulation. Worse still, they have fudged the scale from 1/18 to a now 1/15 and everything new is out of whack and there are not two Spider-Man figures the same height. The new Moon Knight ABSOLUTELY towers over the old one. Think John Stockton and Karl Malone...that much of a difference.
And they think the Chinabay figures might be the issue

Frankly, when we (in the UK) had no choice but to pay close to £20 ($25) just to get these - Chinabay was a godsend. Try charging a price in keeping with the value Hasbro, the RRP for these should be about $8 ffs! You can get Star Wars Black and 6 inch Legends for less than $20! The only thing that will cause people to buy these is to price them according to what people are getting.

This is what I base my entire collection on..... army building the rarest figures I can. So am I a jerk for doing it, or are you a jerk for saying so? Also three? That isn't an army, just company. There are plenty of them out there, enough for everyone.

That Zola is titties. The BAF head should fit rather easily on that peg if you wanted to scale it up. Really nice as it is, just saying. Been there done that, just sharing.

ukmu 07-01-2017 04:00 PM

This is just humble beginnings.... only at five now. Was just going to 8, but now think I will up it. I want them all!!!! I hope starving children in Africa will NEVER see a two pack Ultron. Poor little Jimmy in the children's hospital living in a bubble better settle for a gold one! And the jerk working hard just starting on the line and on tight budget playing catchup ,will learn only suffering as I beat him EVERY time on a higher bid. I am taking them ALL....... muhaaa muhaaa MUUWWHAAAA

Yeah why the fek are they releasing her again? Don't get me wrong I'm happ to get SOME NEW figures but come on, at least include her other helmet look or make a better head than that Mac and cheese hair. Hello that's almost as bad as repacking Hyperion again that Danvers 2 pack can still be found at Ross.

Also does anyone else find it odd that we get no press releases? I mean we see all sorts of official announcements for the 6" and even Titan heroes and the 5" kiddie lines, we get some blurry ass twitter pics. Stall and crew have made it clear they could not give 2 shits about our line, but they probably keep it going because they still make money off of our loyalty.
Ok guys sorry if I sound too negative, I just feel like if we aren't vocal we may get more crap.
I agree with the folks that said they want more of that jim lee cyclops buck, or any of the vastly superior old bucks like Hercules or Hyperion buck (just not the awful super man rip off character lol). Also with deadpool such a hot property I'm surprised we haven't seen more

Eh, I suppose this is more of a "You do you" kind of situation. We obviously feel differently about it. I just kinda take it as a "look out for the little guy who only has so much money to spend on figgys" type of situation, since that is my situation right now.

Also, I was referring to army building as the name for the practice of getting multiples of a figure instead of just one to fill up some ranks. I've also vowed to keep it at 3-4 in most cases due to shelf space, though 3.75 Black series First Order Stormtroopers have me on the path to making an exception, since I want about 8-10 of them.

4 down...

I like the Captain Marvel figure, but seriously? She's kind of a pegwarmer, probably due to her massive noggin.

I mean, if you don't feel like posing it around too often, she's fine custom fodder, but really?

Also, gotta agree about our lack of press. Things tend to just kinda happen without anyone saying a word outside the thread. Heck, this thread is my main MU new source most of the year. I suppose when you don't have a YouTube community properly dedicated to this scale like 6 inch does, no one makes a stink about it, so they get away with stuff.

Kernel 07-01-2017 05:37 PM

^ yeah it's too bad. Hopefully some people speak up at SDCC.

Also did you guys see josh Brolin is gonna play Cable? Man that's a bummer... he's already thanos and his acting just doesn't bring much to the table... I mean he's Ok, I guess I was hoping for a guy like Stephen Lang. Hopefully we get some deadpool 2 figures

Il Cattivo 07-01-2017 06:13 PM

we need snoop at sdcc.

hasbro ain't got no love for 3.75 line? ya'll don't love us!? ya'll don't love us!?

This is our life.

Worth pointing out DarkToyLord...this set was shown months ago. Then pulled. We are only excited NOT because of new figures, in fact we first saw 4 of them 12 months ago and one 36 months ago. The reason we ARE excited is the pure fact that it is not dead. Also, NO exclusive for SDCC, no new announcements or figures shown at SDCC (holding out for shitty HasCon) and no more super cool Marvel 3.75" diorama that EVERYONE loved at the Con. Oh,and the only new thing we get this year is a shite Mega Man, a repackaged Iron Man and an Executioner first shown and promised a prompt release at Toy Fair in 2013 that will now arrive this autumn.

This is OUR world. Enjoy what you are blessed with in yours. Hug your babies tight! ;)

damn man....i think i'd be type : pissy if this was still my main line. Those prices..and the lack of what you're getting..and the scale is off now...smh..damn.

I use both, find imgur better personally.

The problem with imgur they give you a certain limit & when you go over it the older pictures are hidden.

Those were quite easy to find at Target.

They don't even bother about ANY of the Marvel 3.75 news on the front page here anymore. Oh well, we get by just fine I suppose. It 5 am here, but I have surprise to show you guys later.

Definitely not in my area and I was checking thoroughly. All I ever saw was one of the arm-blade Iron Man and that was it.

another great custom. it looks like the injustice solomon grundy buck.

Yeah agreed, but i would prefer a black tux version, because its less likely to take damage over time.btw "muddyfox" has an amazing collection and there are some killer customs in amongst all those figs!he also has a bunch of custom carded figs as well!

thanks man, today i stripped the paint repainted it and plan on modifying the drone head looks much crisper now.personally i think the actual baf head out of scale.
regarding army building? id much rather see them being picked up for army building purposes rather than seeing them getting flipped on forums or ebay!
im hoping to cast a bunch of ultron heads for all those fusion ironmen i have.ill most likely grab just one goldtron.

I remember that ha ha. I think it was in the middle of that west coast east coast beef stuff.

Also I hope that ryu (from the ms marvel 2 pack) comes on that jim lee cyclops or Hyperion buck, or at least has some torso articulation. Blanka might be an easy repaint of the beast buck.

Some advice when casting the ultron head. Remove the antenna and add toothpicks to make them thicker or they will just snap when getting them out the mold ;)
