Oh shit, the Pulp Fiction select figures are out?!

Someone got some pulp fiction figs early, I thought they were on Diamonds list for next week.
I asked Diamond last week about the PF figures and I believe they said Series 2 will be Vincent (in suit) , Mia, And Jimmy ( Tarintino himself). The Wolf was moved to series 3, witch makes me think Tshirt and shorts Jules and Vincent would be in series 3 but that is just my guess.

I taunted them and said they should do Zed and the gimp in a box as a SDCC set :-P

i had Jules in my hand..and i know he'll be harder to find (they only had 1 left) but his right eye was TERRIBLE. The dude tells me this one was the BEST one they had. I look on the packaging and it kinda looks like they were trying to make his right eye closed slightly more then his left. But that trying to be done via paint apps, turned bad.
I ordered one from Amazon and hope it'll look better. If not, it'll have to go to someone to repaint that eye casue i'm way too lazy.

Those figures look awesome. Every figure I own that has some small paint flaw gives me a disproportionate feeling of remorse when I look at it on my shelf. #TheStruggle
I dunno how others would fix Jules' eye, I'd put the paint on the tip of a toothpick and draw it very carefully. Or I'd try, anyway. To call me a novice is an insult to novices.

I wish I had any talent for customizing beyond small detail work, I'd slap that Ving Rhames head onto somebody huge and make a Guardians of the Galaxy Charlie-27 figure. Because a Hasbro Ravagers wave feels unlikely. What a wave that would be, though.

I wouldn't really count Howard Stark since it's meant to be different aged versions of the character. John Slattery plays the older version and Dominic Cooper plays the young 1940s/50s version. To my memory the two actors have never played overlapping time frames and each is separated by like a decade at least (depends on how far back Slattery's version has gone).
Thanos barely counts either since his first appearance at the end of Avengers was just a cameo to tease the bigger picture.

never did understand the attraction to pulp fiction and disney infinity figures?

Pulp Fiction is one of the most popular and highly regarded films with a substantial amount of pop culture influence so people wanting figures from it isn't an outlandish notion. That being said though I think the only one anybody really wanted was Samuel L Jackson so I expect this line to not sell phenomenally.
Well obviously if someone has the Disney Infinity game then the figures are needed to play as those additional characters but for everybody else they have the same appeal as knick-knacks. They're just solid figurines but of characters that are for the most part well known and done in a cartoon, almost Pixar like, style. It's like asking why people like Chibi versions of characters. They just do (or do not).

Becuase Pulp Fiction is a phenomenal movie with great characters, an interesting narrative style, interesting conversations, and memorable scenes.

Still not happy about the content that is locked without an Amiibo. I paid $50 for the game and should not have to pay more for things that are ON the cartridge. On the positive side, I really love the reversible original GB cover artwork.
