That being said though I think the only one anybody really wanted was Samuel L Jackson so I expect this line to not sell phenomenally.
Well obviously if someone has the Disney Infinity game then the figures are needed to play as those additional characters but for everybody else they have the same appeal as knick-knacks. They're just solid figurines but of characters that are for the most part well known and done in a cartoon, almost Pixar like, style. It's like asking why people like Chibi versions of characters. They just do (or do not).
