Oh yes I do remember. If they can do it for a custom they could do it for mass production. While they're at it give us that Northstar, Aurora, Lilandra and Madrox that were on the polls years ago.

Amazing shot..at first glance i though it was an actual Marvel piece...

Some of those Prisma filters are awesome. This one just really stood out after going through all of them. You can't really tell, but Deadpool is back there photobombing in the back.

Gwenpool, Prowler, and Mysterio are definitely ones I'll be interested to see, and I'm glad Noir is finally getting a 6" release (though I hope it's more than just a reuse of the Ghost Rider/AIM Soldier body, solid and perfect as it is). Spider-Punk, I have no attachment to (Hasbro, give me Peni Parker and SP//dr, please!), and for as ever-present as they are, I'm really lukewarm on the Goblins as a whole (my favorite is Ben Urich, so that tells you a lot).

Who do y'all think this Spider-Woman is gonna be? Julia Carpenter? Maybe Mattie Franklin is finally getting her due? Or someone from the Spider-Verse stuff?

Oooh if it is Julia Carpenter I would have to get her. I actually like her character more than Jessica Drew.

This is the most intriguing part of the list to me. Quite a few options they could have gone with. Realistically speaking, I'm thinking it will either be Julia or Jessica's new costume.

I thought he was sneaking booty feel on dazzler. ;)

i like that spiderman lineup...
and characters like spider-punk..while i know jack-shit about the character...as long as it doesn't look like crap...it(and the rest of the line) is just making the legends lineup ..that much bigger and better...

Boy Blunder 07-11-2017 10:33 AM

Since they just announced the casting of the 'New Warriors' TV series, do you think Hasbro might slip more NW characters into future waves, if not outright do a NW wave?

I could see Speedball and/or Night Thrasher making an appearance in a Spider-Man wave, Firestar popping up in either Spider-Man or X-Men, and Justice shuffled into an Avengers wave (perhaps Rage, too). Add on the previously-released Nova and Darkhawk, and we've got the beginnings of a full lineup, at least!

I would say rage sgould be a no brainer for hasbro. Just give a new head n belt n vest on a recolored nuke body, maybe using nukes boots but sentry's legs.

Funny you should mention it, because I was just gonna say I was hoping Jimmy Woo being in the Ant-Man sequel might push Hasbro to do some Agents of ATLAS figures.

It'd have to be a Hulkling/Warpath/Crossbones/Thunderball/Wrecker/Piledriver/Bulldozer body IMO...Rage is pretty big.

Not large enough...Rage wasn't smaller than Thor and we all should be fairly aware of the scale mistake Hasbro has created moving forward... ;)

I just looked this up, and he's being played by Randall Park? Oh hell yes.

Squirrel Girl - a Netflix wave or Avengers wave, perhaps a Spider-Man wave.
Firestar - Avengers or X-Men, possibly Netflix for a comic character
Justice - Avengers or Netflix for a comic character, possibly Spider-Man
Rage - Avengers or Netflix wave, Possibly Spider-Man
Night Thrasher - Spider-Man or Netflix wave
Speedball - Avengers, Netflix or Spider-Man
Namorita - Netflix or Spider-Man
Silhouette - Netflix or Spider-Man

That is assuming they don't get some kind of focused wave or set of course. And I'm sure there's other NW out there but I'll be damned if I can recall them.

Pravus Prime 07-11-2017 11:08 AM

I saw that there were in hand pictures of Hela from the Thor Ragnarok wave. Where there any more pictures or initial impressions anywhere? I tried to find more pictures or other information and couldn't find it at any of the forums I frequent; I would've thought that whomever got it in hand would want to do more then take a picture of a single boxed figure in hand and would instead want to show off the entire wave and perhaps (*gasp*) open it!

YES! Just saw Dorkside's post on the Fwoosh forum that they'll start charging cards tonight and shipping out orders for the Netflix wave tomorrow!

Plenty of other members, though the only ones I can remember off the top of my head are Turbo, Microbe, and Debrii.

Just wondering, why the suggestion for Netflix waves? Given our first example (the Man-Thing wave), it looks more like they'd be taking a 'Marvel Knights' approach to those waves outside of the actual Netflix characters. And the NW show is on Freeform, not Netflix.

He was Thor for a few years, the same way Jane Foster is now.

Thor is a damn male warrior's name. Not a woman's. It was a stupid PC move by Marvel plain & simple. Be in denial all you want. Same for all the other race/gender changes that have occurred these past few yrs. Main reason I quit reading comics after WW Hulk/Planet Hulk. Saying you need to change a character's race/gender cuz otherwise the stories "stagnate" is pure BS. Then Marvel needs to hire better writers & ones who care about the original character.

OH I realize that, I guess I shouldn't have said Netflix per se - more of a TV-oriented wave. Really a lot of these characters could fit in various places, though I think a box set would be ideal for the top 4-5 figures.

Despite the hysterics from people like you, The Mighty Thor has been one of Marvel's best performing and well reviewed comics of the past few years. So this "stupid PC move" really paid off.

Also names switch genders quite often. Lauren, Ashley, Leslie, Meredith and Whitney all used to be boys names, some for centuries. Arguing that a name has an inherent gender is absurd.
