Hey look! We DID get an SDCC exclusive!

http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/up...on-Set-013.jpg

Just a shame he's packed with figures that I don't care about.

Also a shame that they didn't do him right except for the torso, head, and weapon. Those arms and legs just look bad/lazy.

Just to be a grumpy Gus, all those figure have wrist and GI Joe legs/Stands way higher class than Hasbro's Marvel offerings these days...

He looks like a microwave with limbs.

Il Cattivo 07-10-2017 03:12 PM

Mr coolio head?

Jay West 07-10-2017 03:43 PM

Probably easy to sell off the non MU figures and get your money back .... if you consider ROM as MU.

Sender 07-10-2017 05:50 PM

i dig crossovers and i love JOE. Its cool that they are making this SDCC set.

As tall as if not a bit taller than Norton Hulk, certainly bigger and bulkier. But not as tall as Abomination or BiBeast though.

Il Cattivo 07-11-2017 05:30 PM

just below 6. so around 5.8/5.9

ukmu 07-12-2017 04:28 AM

.....and THATS why she left ya.

(boom)

Oscarv 07-12-2017 08:25 AM

Sad to see more people abandoning ship. Sadder to see that ROM will be impossible/expensive to find/buy.

Like the groot idea, was contemplating doing something similar. I have multiple ant man figures growing into giant man.... why not Grroot.

I was waiting for a joke ever since this; "How big was it roughly? 6 inch?"

I tried to leave well enough alone....

Yesterday our thread was on page 1199 and the 6" appreciation page was on 1198. Today, they are on page 1202, and we are still on 1199. State of things I guess, being passed and never to reign again. I remember when we hit page 1000 and no other page was even at 400. We were kings. Untouchable. We have fallen so far. I suppose they will hit 1500 before we turn 1300 at this rate.

Not that that means anything.... just thought it was noteworthy and needed mentioning. Wish we had more to talk about other than dick jokes and ROM THE SPACE KNIGHT. I noticed when I wrote that little post last week about it being "official" no SDCC figures announcement, there were 50+ visitors for a few day consistently. The fan base IS there and we few still remain. If only HASBRO believed in our scale as well.

Well, tbh, considering how long it has taken them to surpass us despite having FAR more to talk about still says something about how dedicated the fanbase is.

Okay, I need y'all masters of the obscure Marvel stuff to tell me...

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNj...xYl24F/$_1.JPG

Does this thing actually resemble any character in the comics?

I see Thanos collar piece. The gloves are from the same figure but the arms are not. The head makes me think of The Controller but the color palette is completely wrong, he is mainly 2 tone blue.

CCC.

The fan base IS here. We just have less to talk about while the other scale skyrockets with various releases and finds. The latest SDCC Revolution PC/AntiPC rage spilled over there though with respect to Marvel characters and accounts for the latest surge of posts.

Speaking of which, as a 3.75 lifer, i really dig the set for the very scale (minus Jetfire) that it is. i'm not familiar with all the characters but can't help but be excited to have fresh 3.75 custom fodder to work with.

The late reveal had me puzzled too. Such an exciting set for Hasbro yet waited 2 weeks before SDCC to reveal it.

Lastly, i wonder if it ushers in more MASK, ACTION MAN, ROM, and CENTURIONS in our favorite scale! Fingers crossed since GI Joe will be in limbo for awhile. Sad but true.
