Sickening looking at all of the splinter capture sets listings on eBay. If I’m correct, it looks that between active listings and sold listings there were just around 400.

Hoping it's true that NECA intends to re-release these as singles at Gamestop. That Foot Soldier will be a great army builder. I'd like to get at least 2 more to go with the box set.

Hopefully the game stop ordering this year works better than last year. Frankly, the demand is just too high for the amount Neca is allowed to produce. Plus, scalpers are snatching up all these "exclusives". I know scalping happens in collecting, but it seems to be a HUGE issue with NECA TMNT stuff.

Eh...sour grapes most likely...but it just wasn't meant to be. NECA's loss really in my money and the resulting damaged faith from this debacle.

Hopefully there will be a re-release down the line. Otherwise I'll give my money to our friends in China who will more than likely end up "re-releasing" these anyways...

I know it is frustrating to miss these exclusives. After the TMNT releases though we all know that these will be released separately. Now if people are upset that they missed this set because of its exclusivity or collector value or whatever that is fine but we KNOW WE ARE GETTING THESE. I am more worried about another Gamestop debacle. Because that really is the only other way to get these. I knew this would be a mess like last tine so I didnt participate in this one. I didnt want to get qorked up. I do think it is kinda crappy to only list six back up, HOWEVER, they didn't only put six up. They put six TMNT sets up and countless sets of the others. The reality is that they had enough of all the different sets to warrant a re-list of what they had. Like the DC sets I wanted. I am happy that I got a second chance and I am sure others are too even if it wasn't the TMNT.

I am super excited that I got the Batman and Superman sets after years of waiting. I dont know that we will see the DC sets back at retail. It appears that they have struggled so much with these figures and I worried that we wouldnt get to see them after this. But now I REALLY want to get the other DC sets. I may stress over those now that I have these. I wish people had better luck and I really wish NECA would figure out a process that works.

Ok, I think I take back my praises to Neca.
I was not going to buy anything but went in to check how things were behaving. Kept refreshing and when they appeared, I immediately clicked on it and add to cart.
The elapsed time for that were exactly 3 seconds and I received the sold out message.
Some people shared screenies of available numbers and they were literally 6.
So with these numbers, what did they do? Cancel 1 bot, one scalper and one duplicate order? (being generous)
So, for someone to purchase that fast, they must have been using bots. This leads me to believe they filtered zit, nada, zero.
With the hype they created, seems like their transparency went to the crapper.
Would be nice to know what bots are people using, though...

At this rate, only bots will stand a chance to purchase exclusives like this which is insane. There should be measures taken to prevent bots. I got lucky with an all-in set on the 3rd day after tons of stress for all those 3 days because I wanted a set but refuse to pay extortion prices for it. Im not looking forward to having to deal with selling the dc sets and it, but on the bright side i got the tmnt, conner and kreese. The checkout button being frozen was a big wtf moment, even crazier than a loading screen ever was on matty.

Maybe next year Neca can setup a captcha system and also sell a few sets for $10k each only as placeholders to trap bots like Berrics did in The War Against Sneaker Bots :D

It was a little strange, I got an email from FedEx last night saying that I had a package arriving later this week but I wasn't sure who it was from. I was hoping that it was from Neca but wasn't sure until I got the email from Neca this morning saying that my TMNT set had shipped. I also received another email from Neca this afternoon saying my DC set has shipped but it doesn't look like FedEx has picked it up yet so no ETA on the second package.

Mine says Fedex label created so assume it'll be out tomorrow.
