PD Destro is here and ready to flaunt that war-profiteer status! I wasn't interested in this line until I got Scarlett in mid-July and was like "oh hey, this is a quality toy" and so then I was kind of thinking about getting Destro because I like what I know of that character. Then I remembered this version was coming out as a fan-channel exclusive and while I do think the normal version looks good there's just something about this version that really works for me. He's such a titan of weapons manufacturing and a Scottish laird so if he's not wearing the Cobra color scheme then I'd imagine he likes to live it up and go all out (evidently in leopard print). He can even make use of the diamond-topped cane for that BAF I never finished to add to his presence.

The gold head and cape being made a part of this look also give me Iron Grenadier vibes which I ran with and let him borrow Nightcrawler's sword. I think it works alright and even serves as a shout out to Hasbro's knockoff Lego line which did the same thing for its version of IG Destro.

I don't think many collectors would ever consider this "essential" to their 6" Joe line up but it really is a fun figure and I'm glad they put it in the line.

Nice mini review of PD Destro, which I just realized recently that it doesn't really stand for "Profit Director", it's "Pimp Daddy"! I could be so slow sometimes.

As you said, I ordered him but has no intention of opening him. He's good to have, but I don't see him fitting anywhere in the collection.

Now an Iron Grenadier Destro, in gold and black, cape and sword, I'd be all for! Along with couple of NON-EXCLUSIVE Iron Grenadiers.

Found Cobra Commander, Gung-Ho and Red Ninja at Walmart yesterday. Only picked up the ninja, since I'm still torn on whether I hate CC's overdesigned costume enough to leave him on the pegs or if I can overlook it. Might go back and get Gung-Ho, though, since he actually kind of looks like a POC design if you squint hard enough LOL...

Don't know when it changed, but i tend to have agreater appreciation for the more outlandish Joe adventures over the more realistic take we sometimes see.

I just hit 4 Targets in my area, and only one had any Joes on the shelf. I did pick up Cobra Commander and Gung Ho while out though. I also got. Beach Head from my LCS on an even swap for a Moon Knight fig. I’m definitely a sucka with this line now.

Came with the McFarlane Fortnite Beastmode figure (Not sure if Rhino or Jackal- but one has this and the other has an awesome Rocket Launcher) They were $15 clearance for a while but i think everyone stated buying them up for their guns and they were back to full price last time i tried to pick one up- lol...

you taking about the Massive Rick-Role that went around? one said Funko was closing and the other said G.I.Joe was being discontinued. zprobably a StarWars one put there too. Funko actually tracked their down to the source and had it removed.
