And of course, in typical hasblo fashion, the non-disney items that people really want are pre-sold out. Thank you very little.

Some Black Series figures mainly Sandtrooper and Clone Gale are showing $31.99 price tags on amazon I think that might be the new Tarriff price for TBS

This is what Jay C from Toynewsi thinks the Tarrif prices might be not 100% confirmed

Tie Advanced and the SDCC pack look pretty good. The witch Ventress is the first Halloween figure I really want. Are all of the Snowtroopers identical except for the two that have rifles?

So they made a figure dressed in white sheets.... why can't we have a hooded cobra commander again?
|
I don't like the Black Series but that Anakin vs Obi-Wan set is pretty awesome.

Barriss is perfect

Vader's TIE is $140. They might as well make it a haslab at this point. Fucking ridiculous.

Small thing, but those "waving lightsaber blade" effect parts that ROTS Anakin and Obi-Wan have have always bugged me. Not just Hasbro's, but Bandai's and Hot Toys' too, cuz they always do it wrong.
In (as far as I can remember) every attempt at doing this effect on a figure, relative to the place the effect plugs into the lightsaber (let's call it "blade-parallel"), there's an equal amount of "wobble" extending from each side of it, which would imply a motion of just wiggling the lightsaber back and forth rapidly like a Wiimote. What should really be happening is one edge that is blade-parallel, to be the blade itself, with the effect extending in one direction away from it, to be the visual aftereffect trail, from swinging in one direction. Maybe some figure actually properly did it like that, maybe I even saw that correct one at some point and forgot, but the majority do it incorrectly and it's been years at this point and it just always annoys me. |

And his lightsaber hilt isn't meant to be crooked, that was just the typical old guy problem of keeping things straight without drooping. Or so I've heard. Ha ha. |
Does anyone know which Vader figure the TIE Advanced one is a rehash of?

No matter what I do, or what browser I use, I get this when placing a preorder for Vader's TIE. It had no problem accepting my order for the Troopers 3-pack, but this damn thing just won't go through.
|
I've had that happen before. I theorize that they put up that message as a cover while they prepare to allocate a new batch of stock for online pre-orders. Does that make sense? Keep trying, and you will probably get it.
... There was a time when I would have killed (so to speak) for that Vader TIE fighter... |

My sympathies. Please keep us posted. Reputation for customer service is the most important thing in this business. We need to speak with our wallets.
That said, with all the stuff that's going on these days, we should not be surprised if there are extenuating circumstances. Regardless, you deserve a helpful response. P.S. Happy birthday. :chair |
