Dude. It' just a tv show. I enjoyed it, I would have watched a second season. Is it disappointing? Mildly, but I'm still having a better time than you are, since I'm the one enjoying Star Wars and not crying like a little bitch on the internet about it. Have a great day, but I'm going to block you because you really aren't interesting enough to justify the 30 seconds it took to write this reply.

It's clearly not "just a TV show" because you're triggered over a two day old post with generic insults (no offense Revan) to the point where you're bragging about blocking someone. It's pathetic, you're pathetic.

The show is unpopular and on the whole Disney Star Wars is unpopular. Look at the last dozen or so offerings. OT, Prequel, and old school EU are back in business. Disney knows it, Hot Toys knows it.

Now go find the block button, wouldn't want you to waste another 30 seconds.

Edit: My apologies, those 30 seconds were nothing compared to God knows how long you spent crying over Revan's other posts. Grow thicker skin son.

cjflan32 08-23-2024 05:49 AM

I'll say it for the millionth time: this Chewie/C-3P0 set is the perfect example of what HT should ALWAYS be doing: popular characters from popular properties. As a high-end company there is no reason for them to pump out $250-plus figures based on the "current thing". Exceptions as always, but on the whole this is what they should be doing.

I saw the price beforehand and was making a joke. They are closer to $300 actually, that’s HT price but not same quality. For sure better than what they were doing years ago but back then they were $80 figures.

Sideshow does not generally make good 1/6 it’s quite the opposite. Maybe 1 out of 10 figures actually comes out good. They are more well known for their statues.

I did say 'about' $200. Plus or minus $75 :) Maybe hot toys are making these for sideshow now.

No offense taken, I didn't care enough to conjure up stellar trash talk but apparently the truth hurts, hence their meltdown. Should I admit that I didn't even watch The Acoshyte and listened to my intuition like I did with the Sequel Trilogy. Andor, Rogue One, Solo? I saw the preview stuff and the behavior of Disney staff, my intuition said don't watch it so I didn't. I did watch Kenobi but that was for watching a train wreck purposes.

They used to collaborate, before HT got the SW license. Now Sideshow is just distributing for them. If HT did have a hand in these it would be all over their facebook page. These are pure Sideshow creations. Their past few figures didn’t hold up compared to HT figures at the same price range. Their newest figure releasing is the Clone Wars Cad Bane. If that turns out good things could look up for them.

Unfortunately hot toys doesn't make an exclusive version of the figure but sideshow does.

User897 08-24-2024 09:16 AM

Well, I see Hot Toys still can't nail a Chewie likeness. That's gotta be hard.

Luckily Expanded Universe stuff still sells. Original Trilogy stuff.Unfortunately, has slowed in sales. There has been OT figures at Ollie's languishing but luckily it's not Darth Vader for the most part.

Batman: The Animated Series - Mondo Poison Ivy Figure

https://www.toyark.com/wp-content/up...on-Ivy-008.jpg

ActeonEtharius 08-27-2024 05:08 AM

Oof, I need that Poison Ivy figure. I'm in the UK so don't even know if I can get the timed exclusive shipped to me. It's annoying as it easily has the most interesting expressions of the 4 available. Really couldn't give a tut about the child accessories, hopefully I can make some money back by selling those on Ebay.

The Timed one is only avaliable on Mondo's site, but they do ship to the UK :)

brazybear 08-27-2024 05:45 PM

Didn't know the timed edition was going to be on sale today, this site saved my ass! I would've hated missing out on the 2 additional Ivy heads.

Also gotta say I LOVE how collector-friendly Mondo seems to be with this stuff. Would NOT have had a chance after 7 hours if it was, say, a Target exclusive or some other BS.

It also helps that Ivy's a $200 figure. No one's buying 10 just to flip.

ghostbogey 08-28-2024 07:46 AM

So cool....

Sorry Mondo (this time)
;^)

"this is an injustice, this show had so much more to give! plenty of people liked it!"

*large media company cancels streaming show that You** don't like*
"ha, this proves that actually it was trash and nobody really liked it"

i see this play out over and over and over any time a show gets cancelled, and i think all the cancellations really prove most of the time is that streaming is a dogshit business model

Are you able to read? I said don't like the Acoshyte and I didn't watch it, I knew it was gonna be garbage and avoided it. Anyway moving on, Classic Star Wars fans like myself were proven right yet again. If you were anymore Dense you would give Granite a run for its money.

did you even read what i wrote? let me rephrase it: i was saying that so many people act like a show they don't like being cancelled is proof/admission it's bad, and then will turn around and say a show they do like being cancelled is totally unfair and done for no good reason, not really catching the double standard there (when Disliked Show gets cancelled the cancellation is reflective of the supposed reality, while when Liked Show gets cancelled the cancellation is totally contrary to the supposed reality); and the truth of the matter is that show cancellations in the streaming era have nothing to do with the quality of the show the majority of the time, with companies willfully cancelling things that are fine, good, or great

Beautiful classic Ironman! I'm not really a fan of seamless joints but seems appropriate here to replicate that oldschool micro mesh armor concept.

TheBlueMarvel 08-29-2024 08:25 AM

Wow. That Iron Man is truly something to behold.

Yeah, those seamless joints are beautiful, although I hear Hot Toys seamless stuff breaks down over time. Hopefully that's not true.
