No, because kids have lives too, and many have plans on saturday mornings. (Games to attend, "Playdates," parties, and stuff)
If they can't catch the saturday morning showings, they can catch it the next day on sunday. That's happened to me. I wish Disney XD did the same thing with Avengers. I missed the Dr Doom episode and it hasn't been repeated since.

What I think is dumb, is Cartoon Network doing away with the Friday night showings.

Ya that was my thing as well.

Cartoon Network doesn't do a good job of scheduling in general. I noticed you said you are late, so you probably didn't see how HORRIBLE of a job they did with season 1, you had breaks after breaks after breaks, hiatuses after hiatuses, broadcasting only once a week, no reruns whatsoever, date changes, everything, It was a MESS.

This is a definite step up from season one's "schedule" if you could even call it that back then.

Now that you mention it I recall trying to catch this during Season 1 and having lots of trouble. If I recall, new episodes were on Friday nights. I don't have DVR so that just wasn't happening.

Growing up we only had cartoons on Saturday morning or reruns early weekday mornings. Sunday mornings it was infomercials, gospel shows, or fishing/nature stuff. Then again, we didn't have cable. I often wasn't home to watch X-Men or Spider-Man on Saturday morning because of soccer or hockey or surfing or some such thing. Most of the time I had to use the VCR so reruns on Sunday would have been nice.

That's what I used to do too! Programmable VCR's baby. Now thank God for the internet so we can grab the old school toons to watch.

OH MY GOD!

BEST EPISODE THIS SEASON! You do not want to miss it!

The show is going on a break after this episode, but it basically clears the air! Greatness, greatness, greatness!

Crazy Jetty 06-09-2012 08:47 AM

Agreed

Ninjinister 06-09-2012 06:22 PM

avcprime 06-09-2012 07:32 PM

Of course it isn't. But does it matter? I don't think so. I wouldn't have even seen the season premiere if it weren't for youtube, since they had to go and classify it as a whole new series just because the title was changed to Young Justice: Invasion. My DVR failed to record because of that.

It does to me, dammit. About a dozen reasons why.

I saw it today anyway, so it's a moo point.

MegaPrime33 06-11-2012 04:15 AM

The writing on this show is really top notch imo. That was a great episode. I honestly didn't see that coming, though I"m not surprised either.

xhavoc86 06-11-2012 12:29 PM

So the real questions now are:

1. Why did Artemis (now under a new disguise) go with Kaldur?
- My theory is she is gonna in as a fake kidnapped teen to find out where the kidnapped teens were taken (in Beneath) and possibly break Lagoon Boy out as well (since he was taken as a prisoner to the "partners" too).

2. What will Cheshire do now that she finds out her sister is dead?
- Cheshire has a love-hate relationship with her sister, but she never killed her and she actually saved Artemis' life in a season one episode. And now that the team got her "killed" and the one responsible is Kaldur, she's definitely gonna throw a wrench into their plans.

3. The fate of the Real Roy Harper.
- Remember this promo image?
Well if you look closely at it...second character from the left, it looks like Roy Harper (on his right hand, it also looks like there's a glove-like synthetic arm attachment). But people always argued that couldn't be Roy because the bows were different, in fact it looks like Artemis's bow. Now that Artemis wont be using it, could the real Roy Harper be using it?

Further inspection of the image we see that its Wonder Girl, Roy Harper(?), Tim drake, ???, Blue Beetle, Impulse (the antennae shape)
Many suggest that the ??? is actually Static Shock! based on the hoody shape, and the baggy pants!
