I mean, it's not like you'll be spending much SDCC money by the looks of things.

I. In the UK can you privide me with a link please for me to forward it on to my friend i the U.S to get it for me?

ukmu 07-21-2017 03:01 PM

https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Legend...+3.75+sinister

Just go to Amazon dot com and not Amazon dot co dot UK next time. It will give you a choice of US or UK version, select the US flag and type MARVEL 3.75 SINISTER SIX

You can just order it yourself for about the same money Jay. I mean it would cost $20 for an individual to ship it anyway so it works out the same. Might save $3 or $4 shipping it loose, but for less than the price of a coffee I think it would be cool to open it from that packaging or even keep in box. God knows those aren't overly articulated and could stay in their plastic prison and look better in your awesome display.

£47 for the set
£9.02 for international shipping
£11.21 customs duty

£67.23 total

nope not the skirt

Quality sure has dropped quite a bit as price went up.
It's the eyes are mis-painted! How can a professional toy company put this in their display case???
Maybe they will fix it as the con goes on?

So far I am not liking how Enchantress looks nothing like the prototype pics.

I have a bad feeling they're going to answer the 3.75" future starting with "unfortunately..."

I just do not like how they just poured all resources into one line and just let the other one die. I get it, the 6" line is the popular one, but it's been a disappointing last few years for 3.75". Cut down on articulation, accessories, number of new figures per wave, and just seeing 6" Legends getting more articulation, accessories, more waves in general...it did annoy me lol.

ukmu 07-22-2017 03:10 AM

Maybe the only way it can be reborn IS to be allowed to die. Take a few years off and return in glorious thunder. I mean, think about how much cooler toys have gotten 2009 when the line started. Now, imagine the rebirth in 2022 on an EPIC relaunch....

Like the mighty Phoenix rising from the ashes. For the first time in my collecting career I am OK with it dying. I mean, it has to be better than continuing as it is.

Yet these 6 inch ones are not more popular than the 3.75 inch ones. There are plenty of them to be had for cheap & are also peg warming by me.

ukmu 07-22-2017 05:29 AM

......and EVERY time (for the most part anyway) the 3.75" stuff flies off the shelf! The kickstarters self fund in hours, the 3.75" silent "closet" collector WAY outnumber the loud and outspoken 6" collector. Just look at the millions and millions and millions of people that collect GI JOE and (proper)STAR WARS figures.

They have CHOSEN this scale because of petroleum plastic costs a few years ago. For a dab more of raw product, they can double their (then) selling point! They basically 'forced' many into 6", especially those that love the hunt! Because they are all that exist on shelves in stores. You wouldn't go on a lion hunt in Alaska would you?

The problem with this is that they think they have to start over at the beginning with remakes of all of the core figures that we already have and by the time they get to what we have been waiting for they run out of steam and start making excuses that we are not supporting them by buying the product because we are not interested. The words SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY come to mind.

Ha! There are 5 new differently colored Deadpool 3.75 figures in Hasbro SDCC Booth! Probably Mercs for Money boxed set?

https://content.screencast.com/users...07-22_2010.png

EDIT: Colors match this cover https://content.screencast.com/users...07-22_2012.png hovever with the same buck it seems like ultra lazy effort.

LordMudd 07-22-2017 11:19 AM

The art on the blue looks female but you can't really tell on the figure.

907shayne 07-22-2017 11:19 AM

Yeah, I don't believe the 6" scale is more popular, it's just all that is available in large supply right now. They are only putting out two waves of 3.75" figures per year, with a smattering of two packs. This is as opposed to 6" having 3-4 different lines with 2-4 series a year, as well as exclusive multi packs.

SDCC is a prime example of this. They have no exclusive for the 3.75" line, but 3-4 exclusives (some partnered with other stores), for the 6" line. Based on the overall diminishment of quality, the diminishment in amount released, and the increase in price, I truly feel this line is winding down. It was a good run, however.

redfox 07-22-2017 11:21 AM

Think it might be based off of this one, as some of the characters in the above are women and/or primates.:p Hopefully they will put some effort into adding the appropriate weapons for each.

Purple= Teenage Negasonic Warhead
Green= Gorilla Man
Pink= Machine Man
Yellow= Hit Monkey

Yeah, your version seems to be more likely. Still I consider it ULTRA LAZY. Is it really so hard to at least give them different head sculpts and weapons? And use Vulture wings for orange Stingray (who is missing)?

ukmu 07-22-2017 12:06 PM

....that's it?!? Literally one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. The same figure from China Bay that has been there for like four years for less than a fiver, but in an assortment of colours?

Well, that ACTUALLY hurts.......taste the painbow

None of these look female, and the one with the hat looks like Madcap.

So they gave us that ToyBiz-inspired Sinister Six set, but when it comes to more ToyBiz-alikes they go straight to 6"? What the helllll

3.75 collectors waiting for scraps from the 6 inch table has never been a more apt description than this years showings so far.
