I like the new mask. It reminds me of Cheetor.

Good eye. That would make a lot of sense for them to slide in place. The new costume is so slick. I'm anxious to see what other features it has.

Dr Kain 07-17-2017 09:17 AM

I think it is kind of funny how for years you had all of these actors like, "I don't want my face to be covered by a mask," and now nearly everyone is like, "Hey, put me in a costume in the MCU!"

Can you please pose the AI Figs that you got next to a few ML figures such as DD/IF for scale reference. I figure that they will be 1/4 inch shorter which is fine as the AI line is about Japanese Ninjas, Martial artists & Samurai warriors & the avg Japanese man is a few inches shorter than American men. I hear some people complaining that the AI figures are shorter than ML figs & I just SMH at those comments. DD is listed at being 6ft tall, so while their might be a few Japanese men that hit that hgt, the majority don't. I believe that the Chinese are the tallest race of Asians as quite a few have made it to the NBA & they were 7+ footers.

....You can always tell when an odd tangent is gonna happen in this thread, I guess.

I'm guessing it'll end up like the Spider-Man films where they come up with excuses to have him take off the mask whenever something requiring serious acting is required.

Funny enough I think it's the studios who have more problems with masks than the actors, since you almost never see the characters actually wearing masks or helmets on posters.

I wish someone would put the Thor wave up for Preorder. It might not end up being the site where I buy it from but it would be nice to get an idea of when it's coming. I know, sometime between next month and October but I gotta have something to look forward to.

ALso my DP pack is shipped and set to arrive for tomorrow. Another thing off the list!

hasbroherofan 07-17-2017 11:19 AM

Someone on Ebay is saying they should be arriving in August, though obviously, grain of salt.

Pretty much. However, this particular sort of thing usually goes unremarked on...at least, that's my experience. Go figure...

Does anyone have a date and time that the SDCC stuff goes up online??

I know TRU stuff goes up on Thursday but any idea what time??

And have they said dates for the Hasbro and Mattel stuff after the show??

Thanks, yes of course not 100% or official but that's helpful. If it is August it would seem odd if we don't have another wave for 2017 officially. Unless that 3rd Spider-Man wave will be for 2017 officially and not 2018 and showing up early in December as per usual.

Hasbro usually puts stuff up after the show. They actually announced the date and time last year if I recall. Toys r us stuff varies in time. Normally early morning like 10am EST, I think. I could be wrong.

i'm on the east coast which it seems gets things later than most..and they have been at several stores already, (so says the sales people). Noteably at GameStops and Think Geeks. I saw them in ThinkGeek yesterday.
But it also seems Jessica, Bullseye, and Blade are harder to find.
Daredevil and Punisher seem to be (naturally) in more abundance..

It's got to be real soon, in hand versions are on eBay, and supposedly a case was found in San Diego (Target?).

Very nice! I just got back from my own stay cation and recovering from a viral flu catching up...

Agree, since I was away from a PC, I wasn't doing my job, granted I'm a few days late I'll go ahead and move these to the appropriate threads.
I do understand as well that certain people like to keep this thread and alive, but like Archangel doesn't hurt to go to the respective threads and comment there...

That new ML 12 inch Hulk is calling me, man...Lol...I said to myself that I would not get into this new ML12 inch line, but Deadpool and Symboite Spiderman looked great to me, and I have added these to my ML Icons 12 inch collection...When, ML Icons came out in 2006, I was hooked, got Spidey, Cap, Beast, Doom, IronMan, Hulk, and a few others...IMO, The ML Icons look better than the ones that are being current made...One of the main reasons I did not get the new ML 12 inch Cap, Spidey, and IronMan...But, that Hulk I might have to make an exception for!...Hurry up and get here SDCC...Lol!

Speaking of 12 inch Legends, Hasbro released official pics of Panther.

Consider me in the minority in thinking this version of the costume looks like s*** compared to the Civil War design. The swept back eara and that line across the mouth area really kills the look for me, not to mention the boots (I preferred the tabi look.) It used to look ferocious before they added all that. Looks more like a SAD Panther now than a Black Panther.

Harbinger 07-17-2017 04:31 PM

^He could be comtemplating...or done it so his enemies would think the same thing. ;) though i do agree I like his cw costume better.
