Some guys just cannot make promotion cause they have too many breaches of regs and bad behaviour or just too incompetent.

OR. Ambush is SO good at concealing himself, he never got the attention of management.

IIRC Ambush also came with a net to build out a makeshift cover so to speak

The 3.75 Ackbar has substantially less articulation, and his mouth can't open/close.

Needless to say I'm playing catch-up and have some reading to do.

I also pre-ordered Batman Beyond Rebirth Vol 2 and Hiya City Hunter off of Amazon but they don't release until next month.

Part of TRU exclusive two pack with a nameless First Order officer. If it weren't for the generic officer I would absolutely have picked Ackbar up, I love that dude. Hopefully they'll do a single-packed RotJ version soon-ish.

Finally wave 4 of Diamond Select Toys "Gotham" figures has arrived in Germany - Azrael, Freeze and Dr. Strange.

Azrael has several swords and a weapon case that opens and closes. His shoulder pads move freely to give his arm free range. You also can switch his head to the hood.

Freeze looks awesome, comes with two freeze guns and cartridges.

Both come with pieces to the repainted balcony and fire ladder. Originally we were supposed to get the police precinct holding cell with them but apparently it was impossible to make. I would have loved that one.

Strange comes with this awesome chair (it doesn't move), certificates and books. The thick book opens and closes. Sadly I can't take off his glasses. Would like to make thinner wire ones. The Toys R Us version came without them so I thought they were removeable.

That's not bad at all but I'll still wait with fingers crossed for a RotJ version as I'd much prefer it. I watched TFA again last night to celebrate TLJ's release (which I'm not going to be able to see until at least next week if even...:() and Ackbar's presence is more of a cameo than anything else as where in his debut he's orchestrating an attack on a freaking Death Star.

But yeah A Classic Ackbar would be incredible that’s his iconic look this Two pack one is kinda a plain looking figure. You’re 100% right about him in The force awakens he is basically a Cameo appearance

I just got over some nasty bug i was fighting for 2&1/2 weeks. Just lotsa sinus pills, alkaseltzer cold n flu, mucinex, aleve and chicken soup. And a nice glass of scotch, neat, in the evening. ;)

This is how I even came to watch Gotham! I saw the awesome Arkham Asylum Gate and others but felt odd to buy it without having seen the series and no idea about the figures. Now I am hooked.

But I thought it's only a diorama when it's fully assembled. But each one of them only comes with pieces to do that. You have to buy both to complete it.

Hey guys, I also recently got this awesome Toy Biz Spiderman set. This is the ebay picture, I have not yet managed to take a good picture of it. Still disappointed that this was shelved. That holding cell looks fantastic. Maybe DST can work on it a bit and release it through future waves.

I got that back when it was new and actually still have it (except for maybe the stretchy web piece). So the sticky, stretchy web thing (not pictured) was meant to be latched onto the various small hooks on the wall and dumpster with the intention being that you put a bad guy behind it so it looks like Spidey caught them in a web. The back of the dumpster has an armature which extends and has a grabbing claw like end, you put Spidey's waist into the end, extend the arm, pull the entire piece to one side until it clicks into place, and then press down on the garbage can to make him jump or flip or whatever the gimmick was supposed to be. You have to extend the entire dumpster section forward to do any of that though. The coolest part to me was the magnets in Spidey's feet (really they are his feet) which work on the set with the sign on the wall and the floor of the balcony, of course then they also worked on any other surface which magnets could go on. There was also then a pole thing which attached to the top of the set that you could have Spidey hang on to with the plastic web that went around his arm (pictured there hanging on a wall hook), then you could spin it around with Spidey on or just have him hang off it for some other poses. There's also then a hook on the end of a line which can be cranked out and attached to the pipe top piece to create a sort of zip-line but I never found that to work all that well. I don't know if that eBay picture is all you're getting or if the description mentioned more but just based on that picture you won't be getting the stretchy web thing, the armature, or the pipe piece. It's still a really cool diorama without that stuff though and if you mainly got it for display then you're not really gonna want the armature at all anyway.

Thank you very much! Yes, I got it only as display piece for the Gotham figures. I knew that the lantern pole and the net was missing, but didn't mind as I would have removed it anyway for it to look better. Looks like the grabbing thing is also broken off from the backside of the dumpster. I do have the small hanging net that goes around his arm though.

I got the set rather cheap, only a third of the usual ebay price, so no complaints from me. It was only once that I had it in hand I got curious about the things that moved. So thank you for explaining it all!

I did find out by accident about the magnetic feet, when I washed him and laid him to dry on my washing machine. I had no idea that the sign and the balkony floor are magnetic, I definitely need to try this out! Should make for some great poses.
