Oh, and I don't recall anyone else here speaking up, but I found a Target with the Homecoming 2 packs marked down to $10 here in the SF Bay Area!!
Not a good sign, but incase anyone waited...

Pilkster 08-04-2017 03:51 PM

Haz the new Gold Ultron wave hit the US yet. I see IDTOYS have them ready to go already at almost £15 a pop. Its not lile the UK to get anything before the US. And yes I do remember us getting the beast wave first but I thoufht that was due to the shipping backlog in the US.. and to let everyone know I will be looking for all the new characters from this set including 10 gold ultrons ;) just PM me

I could do at somepoint picking another set of these up.

Jackieboy maybe something you could sort out with Cris here? Just a thought if you are still needing them?

$5 a figure? Man, that's a steal right there!

That's not necessarily a bad thing probably just clearncing what's left to make room for the Thor 2 packs. Now is those same packs have set there since that wave was released then yea it may not bode well for them to continue carrying 2 packs.

My SDCC rant video is almost done, but it's mostly stuff you guys have all heard before(it's just part of me making this stuff YouTube vocal), so I'm just gonna share the tidbit you guys would actually find enjoyable.

thanks but im good on the spidey 2 packs and GOTG/strange packs they showed up in my area.the thor packs, gotg 5 pack and final wave are what im looking for right now.comiccon is on in my city next week and i will get a bunch of mu from there in their tradehall might luck out on some things.

ukmu 08-05-2017 03:22 AM

I doubt we ever see the GotG box at retail over here. The Thor packs will land eventually, especially in your neck of the woods seeing as the Spidey and MCU packs landed in yours. The final wave still isn't out. In Demand Toys in UK have them listed as in stock, but I've yet to see anyone post them. And BBTS only have them available for pre-order still. So hopefully, she made available someone can help you out.

FINALLY getting one of my grails, the 2005 Toy Biz smash attack Doombot!!! The red eye version and 2 of them!!!! As an army builder and recent all-in collector of Doom (loads of Doombots, cast heads, 2 playsets, and looking for Transformers Doomdogs) I could not be happier!!! And it is a fellow Arker that is helping out as well!

@MUfan, about to watch your video now! Very excited, I've seen you around on YouTube before, could tell it was you because you were defending 3.75" and had the same avatars.

Wow. It is probably too much to ask to buy and ship those to one sad collector in Czech Republic...?

Oscarv 08-05-2017 10:53 AM

^^^ I'm sure someone could hook you up on here. No sign of them in the UK, apart from one website, and I think they are sold out. Have you tried forbidden planet international?

Oscarv 08-05-2017 11:24 AM

Complete onslaught BAF (older version) on Ebay UK for £20 if anyone interested? Not me selling, but thought it's an excellent price and wanted to share.

I think I like both, great to get different "silhouettes" on my shelf... plus the old buck was based on Bambi woods which is kinda funny to me.

I wanna get a spare enchantress from the new set as I think it would make a super easy madame hydra kit bash or custom. I just have to figure out what to use for the headsculpt.

That Emma Frost wave eventually hit almost every toyshop in Czech Republic, for a while I thought that Hasbro finally found out we exist. But after that nothing more came from them. But thanks for a reminder I will check Hamleys next week when in Prague.

Target actually sold out of the movie pack but the neighboring TRU still had a movie set so I got everything in one trip. The Hulk is pretty great to me except for one thing on mine, they didn't paint the top of the sandal on his right foot. You can see it in the picture, they still painted the rest of the sandal but the straps on the top are just the same green as his skin. Aside from that bump in the road though I love finally having a Planet Hulk figure since I missed the MU one. The Thor is definitely smaller than he should be but I suppose it's not terrible since he is still almost as tall as figures using the Jim Lee Cyclops body. I like the design enough to be content with it. My Enchantress is okay but since every other one had chameleon-eyes there wasn't really going to be a clear winner, the general sculpt of the head is a clear improvement on the old comic pack so finding one with even decent paint is quite an upgrade IMO. Skurge is the best of the four, literally the only downside for me is that it took so long to happen. None of the ones I saw had perfect paint on the body armor but none were bad.

...Shanna the She-Devil heads looks great. And thank you for referencing her as Madame Hydra... everyone usually simply says Viper. While she was both, I am particularly partial to the HYDRA name for some reason.

Great group shot En Sabah and VERY happy that you finally got your Skurge at home in Texas where he belongs...congratulations, it certainly has been a long time coming.

That Emma wave hit EVERYWHERE around me. Shops that had never carried them before had it. Just Thursday I went into The Entertainer (a British mall toy shop similar to the old KB Toys back in the day at malls in the U.S.) and they had Emma, Northstar, Col-Naught, and Chameleon figures galore still. At a slight mark down, but still too high to bite for custom fodder.for some unknown reason HASBRO pumped that wave and pimped it out to every store world wide it seems.

I can keep my eyes open 👍🏽
No guarantees, as they will probably be gone from the 1 I found them in, but I will try to check another 1, pal. Target's don't always all mark stuff down at the same time.

LordMudd 08-05-2017 07:15 PM

I got another $3 Shanna at Game Stop today. I swear they are the only place that got that wave and now can't get rid of it.

@ MUfan97 Fast forward to the 7:45 mark, there is a 3.75" collector that expresses our concerns.. nervous Dwight is a good description and he spits out a classic line of bullshit. I haven't even bothered to watch this years SDCC presentation as I don't think they talked about 3.75" other than that rainbow squad deadpool set.
