The employees told me it could end any given week, but they had no set day the sale would end. They do it every year starting the day after x-mas so you might just have to call a store near you and find out. If I remember from last year it was I think till mid January but I am not sure. |
Thanks!

Not a huge fan of the Transformers movies but this Dragonstorm was one I'd been on the lookout for. The first couple of waves from this line have been on the shelves in huge quantities where I've looked for a while, so to find this one out of the blue was pretty sweet.
Picked this up from Toys R Us, £7.99. |

That place was an absolute goldmine for Underground Toys' Doctor Who figures. Not to mention, their NECA selection was unparalleled. |

First haul of 2018!

For the sake of this post I'll glaze over the fact that she cost as much as the other two figures combined. It just feels really good to finally have a figure from Overwatch, I love the game and most of the characters so toys from it are something I've been waiting for since 2016. As a figure on its own there's almost nothing not to like about Tracer here, the colors are spot-on and the articulation is top-notch. Given the figure's size I understand certain features like her freckles are missing and her jacket doesn't have those little scuffs that make it look worn. Since this is a Figma figure Tracer sadly scales properly with very few other toys, DC Icons and sorta Black Series are it from what I've tested. If it weren't for my wallet's tears I'd absolutely recommend this one to any Overwatch fans. Found Optimus and Namor while I was at Walmart for cat food. I was really surprised to see Optimus so soon since I wasn't aware he was supposed to be out yet but damn do I like him. He's sizable, the Matrix of Leadership is cool, and the way his split transformation works is pretty fun. I feel like this is probably the closest you can get to a Masterpiece Optimus without just ponying up for the Masterpiece (ignoring KOs). Not much to say about Namor beyond the part where I like it, the bearded head does look pretty nice but I'm sticking with the classic. |

I miss Infinite Heroes. Some of those later figures were pretty nice. If they had kept going I'd bet they'd be kicking ass right now. |
^^^^^^^
Thanks! Yeah,a friend was saying the same more or less about them. DC 4" is not a major % of my collection but these are definitely a nice line and right now a gap exists in the hobby for a DC 4" line IMO. |

That Prime looks like a good Prime to replace my aging and undersized Classic Voyager Prime. My Transformers don't spend a lot of time in their vehicle modes, so the ugly vehicle mode doesn't bother me. |

I'm unimpressed. But now I know what happened to all those ReAction figures from four years ago. sheesh, I think they had thirty of every one. |

Some photos of my Godaikin Voltes V. This is probably my favorite toy collectible out of all of them (including Transformers). It's not the greatest toy figure as it has very limited joint articulation & pose-ability and it's not quite an accurate depiction of the TV series robot. But it somehow just presses the right nostalgic buttons for me.
I had this as a toy back in the early 80's and I played with it until it fell apart. And when we moved houses, it never came with us. I finally found one at a decent price and it was in nearly mint condition. So I took the plunge. |
Picked these up today. Got them at a discount because a thief stole both of the Thor headsculpts... Good thing I only really wanted the Valkyries.

Wow how lame to do that (the thief). |
Had a couple if good deliveries this week. Received Black Bolt and Namor from Amazon on Tuesday and the latest DC Multiverse set with Superfriends Superman and Aquaman, Master Race Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl.
