TRU had these for $99.99 a while back so waited and found K-Mart had them on clearance for $49.

VOOOOOOOLT IN!

An excellent grab, Amja99! Classic and nostalgic. What it may lack in pose ability, it certainly makes up for in durability..practically all metal construction. Plus magnets, projectiles, and the sword from his chest was icing on the cake. It is an awesome toy and difficult collectible to find in good shape. You should take pics of him in his five individual vehicles too!

that thing was A HUNDRED DOLLARS ?!?!?

the original USS Flagg 30-ish years ago didn't cost that much. I realise inflation and rising oil prices have changed the value and pricing of toys over time but geez. I can get 2 Leader-scale Transformers for that money, or 4 Voyager-scale.

no wonder no-one makes vehicles anymore.

edit: apparently TRU's $100 price is way out there, the MSRP from Hasbro is $49.99.

I'm a huge fan of these new, smaller vehicles Hasbro are making for the Black Series 6" line. I hope we get more after the dewback.

Sounds like these are dissapearing from Walmarts and Targets, I would expect to see these at Marshalls/Ross/TJ Maxx/Ollies in about a month or so.

immediately after i purchased and opened this (release night)

I picked up Rey's Speeder from Amazon when it went down to $25, I'm pretty sure the price will drop again.

Found a pink panther today at my go to walmart! When i saw him i snatched him up with the quickness !

I did so because I recall it being $99.99 in the Sears catalog that year and wanted to verify, and that's faster than trying to hunt down images from old catalogs.

I must have been thinking of some other band. Possibly Kay-Bee in-store price.
