Id settle for retrned articulation and a gotdamned stand. And return to reaaonable 6-8 buck price tag. I know stall has tombe behind the crap artic ( which is one nut hair above 5 poa ) and the über moronic pricing.

Eh, I don't think we're ever gonna return to the 6-8 buck price point, but if they give us more articulation and stuff, I think the $12 price point wouldn't do too badly.

Or $10, if you go by two pack logic.

The new one's problem in my opinion is that he's too deliberately creepy in his design to the point that he just isn't creepy at all to me. Tim Curry's Pennywise, besides the obvious benefit of it being Tim Curry, was deceptively bright and it made it more reasonable that he could lure children to their deaths. Sorry for going off topic folks.

And if that's the way it has to go, so be it. I'd rather buy Marvel figures in those Funko styles at $10 than the current crop at the prices they are.

overpriced??? when was the last time you were at Gamestop?
most of their toys are at normal retail prices
and then there are the clearance prices...

BAF's are notorious for getting swiped or switched anyway

i'd be down for some diorama pieces.

ukmu 08-07-2017 10:26 PM

Diorama pieces!!!!!!!

Il Cattivo 08-07-2017 10:39 PM

give me something like the multiverse two packs - one regular 3.75 figure and a big character (e.g. a proper world war hulk). hell no to BAFs! diorama pieces...meh...

ukmu 08-07-2017 10:58 PM

I wish they would just do Sentinels in the silly 12" Titans line. Sure they would basically overly shiney statues, but for the price they would make GREAT background fodder. I would definitely grab at least four.

You know what would also make a good Sentinel, come to think of it?

The highly articulated 12 inch Iron man figure.

Seriously, it wouldn't take too much new sculpting to do.

Obviously if they're selling Bat'66 for that price, it is overpriced.

And yeah, if they're on clearance, they're good price. Last time I was in one I walked away with some stuff at good deals. But that's not the rule.

Trust me, as a former employee, I can say with confidence, they are poop more times than not. I was only in one a couple of months ago out of desperation.

Those would be killer too. I like the idea of the Titan ones because they are 2 for £12 when on offer. I would rather enjoy having 4 of them for under 25 quid. That guy above would be £80 and we wouldn't see them here in UK so after Mark ups and shipping he would run £120 so at that point might as well use the ones available! ;)

I just want some on the cheap. Not too bothered about articulation at that price, besides they are robots and being under articulated is ok by me.

I remember thinking DoFP would have figured. I thought First Class was kinda under the radar, and with its success and the buzz for DoFP that surely we would get figures of Sentinels. Didn't realize the politics at that point.

Prem1x 08-08-2017 09:02 AM

You guys who think we're ever paying less for action figures ever again are deluding yourselves.

Also, IMO, if you're not willing to pay more than what we're paying now for a ML-quality 4" figure, then you might as well switch to collect the 5" GotG figure. Cause what we're getting now is barely above shit and it ain't getting better without a higher price point.

Ctonra5669 08-08-2017 09:25 AM

Anyone still looking for Carded Maestro Hulk? or Mohawk Rouge? Let me know if your interested in either. Sell or Trade

Most likely because of Fox owning the movie rights!!! we never did see any movie waves being released at either scale.and a movie sentinel would have been a perfect choice as a BAF for the legends line.3.75 collectors would have definitely added it to their collections!
@UKMU a cheaper alternative would be a couple of pacific rim figures painted up to double as sentinels.

That might make for an interesting challenge. If I can find one cheap enough I'll give it a shot.

Have to agree. The chances that the prices are going to drop are somewhere between super slim and none.

I'm not a "gotta catch em all" collector type so I have no problem paying more for a quality figure. I'm just not paying for under-articulated junk figures. They go back to fully articulated bucks again and I'll buy by the case just to have custom fodder with the extras. Until then, I'm definitely picking and choosing my new purchases.

Oh, and I'm ambivalent about diorama pieces also. Really, just give me some quality super hero figures that go beyond the "core" with some extra hands and heads and I'm good. Don't need all that extra nonsense.

Well said.

I am getting my Skurge
and Amora thanks to a fellow member hooking me up.

I will look into those Pacific Rim figures.

That's kind of what I'm saying. We're never going back to under $10 for even a decent quality figure, so if they want that $15-$20 price point to stick, they need to make it worth it. It can't just be the figure in the package anymore. The two packs have been *okay*. I can even deal with losing wrist articulation because I can add it myself. But the like could and SHOULD be better overall.

Guardians Of The Galaxy v. 2 is now the ShoeBox app to watch for free.

That's good. I kept you in mind but of the 5 I've seen, none but one was worth keeping due to bad eyes.

Yeah I didn't understand that back then. I thought we would at least get 6 inch Legends and probably some sort of Sentinel. I was naive.

I'm amazed when I walk into a GameStop to buy a USED game to save a few bucks only to see it's MORE expensive than a NEW game someplace else. They do have some deals occasionally tho.

Or $10, if you go by two pack logic.

I would love if they added torso articulation... heck use swivel hinge knees (like the elbows) over double jointed knees as long as we keep that ankle rocker and add back a diaphragm joint.

Cheers mate!

The zombie labs have unlocked a few new female civilians. That line will make a lot people very happy. The shear scope of the potential is still unseen really. Many great parts and ideas for years to come should pop out of this!
