We have a huge milestone with the first MCU black lead. Most of the entire cast is black. That is awesome! I am all for representation of all people, and the fact is this movie SHOULD represent properly. But if the rumored list is true, we have Black Panther and a bunch of white people. It's not cool. It treads on disrespectful to the vision of the Black Panther line up. You look at Mattel's line up for the ML compatible toys. SIx figures, five women. That movie was about female representation. Say what you want about the quality of the figures, but they brought it home with representation. I want Hasbro to do the same with the Black Panther wave. Again I apologize if this was in any way offensive, I know topics of racial matters can be delicate, but I think it's a very legitimate concern with this movie and its Legends line. Quote:

Okay, real quick rundown on Moon Knight, since we were fortunate enough to find one last night.
http://i65.tinypic.com/a0jk9e.jpg Putting aside the costume choice (which I'm much more fond of than his other options, but to each their own), the figure itself is very solid. The new tooling for the armored pieces is very welcome, though the chest/back armor pieces fit in a little loosely (not ridiculously so, but they are loose enough to rattle occasionally against the plastic of the torso). I am digging the additional ankle swivel, and I hope we get to see it more in the future. It's not a necessary joint, but it makes posing a hell of a lot easier. The peg on his cape is a little too shallow and pliable to properly hold it into his back, but the collar helps it stay. http://i66.tinypic.com/10h2dq8.jpghttp://i68.tinypic.com/317k2h2.jpg While the finger-claws/tiny boomerangs are difficult to get into the slots, it's not the level of frustration I've heard from others, especially if you put the middle one in first. That said, I have a pair of DCUC Catman's hand-claws that I may donate to him all the same. http://i66.tinypic.com/29zvkn4.jpg His moon-erang is my favorite accessory, but it also makes me sad, since it's the only white plastic on the whole figure that has any blemishes/discoloration. Hopefully all of y'all's MKs will be more fortunate. http://i65.tinypic.com/2chqrt1.jpg Can we please get a proper staff to start using here? Though when separated into his tonfas, they go very nicely with his fencing wrist joints. http://i64.tinypic.com/2a9tsgg.jpg All in all, I'm very happy with this figure, and I'd recommend snapping him up on sight. |

man i was like...what the hell are we supposed to do with these lil things... I'm not a huge fan of this particular fig...so i'm gluing all his accessories in place...one less thing i have to bag up and label. |
BB you're gonna make me want that Moon Knight darn you. He looks sweet even though I really don't like that outfit. I think it's the Moon-a-rangs (moonjitsu?) that do it.

But seriously have fun at the con. Are you going just the one day? Are you going to try to get the Thor set? |

And the Thor set is cool, but with Jane hitting shelves in a single-pack, there's nothing I want out of it. Would rather use the money to get A-Force (and maybe, just maybe, find a Magik or fill out my MMPR Legacy figures - only missing three). |

All this excitement, and I still can only find Sandman wave figures, and other various peg warmers at every Walgreens, Target, and my shitty TRU I visit. I can't even find the Spidey wave and the movie has been out for a few weeks. I had to drive 70 miles to find a couple Homecoming figures. It's not worth that drive. I might as well pay a scalper for that Dark Phoenix 2-pack, and I hate that.

So word over at Marvelousnews from someone is that someone from the Hasbro/Marvel team indicated the last panal of Saturday's presentation is going to blow the panel away.
Calling it now: it's Sauron!!! Or Storm. |
Deleted a bunch of posts.

Unrelated thought to Legends, who else thinks that we'll likely see a new Thor trailer this weekend/next week? Me think it's very likely. ALso possibly an Infinity War teaser? I can't believe its' getting so close.... |
