I agree completely. The rumored list for Black Panther is very depressing, and fits better as a Marvel's Illuminati wave. On a similar note, I'm also worried that Captain Marvel's wave is just going to be another episode of "Captain Marvel and her Amazing, Male Friends".

Translated from Hasbro-speak, this could literally mean anything. Gonna reign in my hopes a bit. I'd love to be blowed away, though.

Yeah I've already wondered about the inevitable Captain Marvel line and the cast. I guess we won't know until we get more cast info but I could see it being just like you said, Captain Marvel, Mar-vel, Iron Man (because Iron Man!) MAYBE Moonstone, Wonder Man and Captain America (because Captain America!) I would blaurgh all over that wave.


Second point yeah I know, that's they're job to be hyped and get us hyped about everything but I'm just hoping it's accurate. Watch it be something lame like...well there's really not much lame in X-world, but something we don't need now like another Cyclops. I think we're all good on Cyclops after this year, yes?


@TBM, I absolutely think Klaw should be in the wave. I think given he is the comic nemesis I think having him is appropriate as long as they would adhere to the vision of the rest of the cast. And let's face it while Klaw is not the most stunning visually even if held to comic accuracy, the figure we got 4-5 years ago was pretty basic. Ideally I'd love to see Black Panther, Klaw, a Dora Milaje w/ two head sculpts, Killmonger, Kasper Cole, and Shuri, with Man Ape (comic or MCU is fine) as the BAF. I'm just hoping we get some of that.

Sorry if I am getting a little worked up about the Black Panther wave. It's likely going to be my final non-X-men full wave purchase due to repetition of characters and personal finances changing in the next year. A figure here or there for other waves, but I really was hoping this wave's line up would be outstanding.

That would suck. I would at least hope we'd know who was on the poll. It sometimes gives us an idea who's on their radar to be made.

Maybe he and Peter Porker could be a two pack together. I have to say when the figures are as small as Rocket, and they would be, I feel kind of ripped off slightly that they're the same price.

So far the only new Legends figure that I'm interested in is Domino. My problem with the Domino though is that they just gave her scaled down versions of the 12" Deadpool's guns and cast them in solid purple. Is she going into battle with super-soakers? The "classic" Deadpool is okay but the red plastic looks way too shiny and then the overall lack of paint and varied color. Maybe this is just a prototype done up for the show and the final release will be more matte with the red plastic. I'd also like to think that maybe he'll have more accessories revealed later. Cable is neat but I don't like how they did his energy eye effect, I would hope it can be removed. Black Widow looks great overall but it's honestly a character that I don't want to get if the only way to get her is with the motorcycle. It's only day 1 though so I'm holding out hope that maybe Mysterio will get teased still.

I'm sure the MCU version would be a more interesting sculpt and an obvious insertion in the Panther line, but my vote is for a redraft in FF. You know my love for canon and I really want a 'redo' of comic Klaw. I wouldn't even need it had Hasbro not used that diminutive Vision mold...

Hmmm, I'd actually forgot all about this. While the last poll was on Instagram (Songbird), the year before (Angela) was SDCC only. I hope this doesn't mean they're done with it.

I think you may have stumbled onto Hasbro's super, secret, world-colliding panel reveal!!!;) I really do hope they knock our socks off. This has been an amazing year of Legends figures. I'm really looking forward to the reveal and crossing my fingers, too.:p

The rumoured BP wave is completely terrible, but given how good the GotG waves were I have trouble believing Hasbro would regress so spectacularly for Black Panther.

En, I wouldn't be surprised if Cable has two heads, one with the eye shining and one without. I couldn't care less either way, but I expect he will.

Not sure what the issue is with purple guns though. At least they fit with Domino's look compared to pink guns that came with Winter Soldier. Although, did Hasbro forget how guns are normally colored?

Also, why no love for the bike with Black Widow? It's about time.

Alla the purple gun haters are just jealous. They wish they had the kind of swagger that Neena has - then they, too, could pull off having purple guns.

If you can't tell, I'm a little bit in love with them. They're the right kind of toyetic ridiculous.

I reckon purple guns are better than shock-white guns like Punisher's street sweeper or whatever the hell Winter Soldier had. So all things considered it could absolutely be worse, at least they're weird sci-fi guns so there's that justification.

I think the Black Widow bike set is a cool idea and I think it came out great overall but I have no personal interest in the bike so unless it's on sale the overall deal will probably be too much for me to pick up at retail.

Hasbro have confirmed the Black Widow figure is an all new sculpt in an interview with Pixel Dan. So, not a re-use of the Mockingbird figure.

Pretty sure it's Domino that's a repainted Mockingbird. So not taking the piping on Black Widow all the way down the torso was a purposeful style choice in a new sculpt? Even more unappealing now

Rumor for BP wave is: Black Panther, Black Bolt, Iron Man, Namor, Siberian Tiger and Leopard. Not sure who the last two are but this wave sounds like a total pass.

I think that wave sounds awesome. Especially if we get a classic Namor, and perhaps a better, larger sculpted classic Iron Man armor. Siberian Tiger is probably the male White Tiger, repainted from the Walmart Black Panther body. Maybe the "Leopard" is Shuri? I'd be ok with that. Also, it was rumored that the Thing was the BAF, which would rule. Need to get the FF completed any way we can at this point.

Leopard aka Black Leapord was the name Black Panther went by for a while in the mid to late 70's. You are right about this wave being a total pass if it's real. I really hope not, because Hasbro killed it with their MCU figures, designs, and character choices this year. For this to be an actual wave would take all that momentum away.
