Guess I need to start checking online now. No way in hell I'll find these in stores around here.

You'll probably be lucky to find them online, considering the last wave.

Heck, if we go by two packs pricing, $10 for each figure seems pretty reasonable.

i believe i may have mentioned it before, but the two-packs, which seems to be our only link to the MCU, will likely be the way to go for future of our scale. i find it best for value ($10 per fig with potential accessories) and for collectors. It may not be what we want or wish for, but it is the reality of our scale. Prices aren't going down per figure less they become the Star Wars 5 POA types (which like Age of Ultron Scarlet Witch has custom potential) and less likely we will return to the multi-articulation of the earlier lines.

Sadly, it is what it is NOW. And even more sadly for the scale devoted, it is all we have and thus why i continue to support it, whatever the state. i, absolutely agree, that $17 is high but will even afford it for the life of the line. i may not amount to much in the end, but at least i had my fill and fun before they decide to can the line altogether.

As a 3.75 lifer, i have already seen the end of JOE this year. While it means more funds can be allocated to Marvel's 3.75 (which i equally supported), there isn't ALOT of product anyhow to spend it on and the lingering shadow that it just may be next on the chopping block.

Sender 08-14-2017 08:41 PM

@ Mordiganne...well done. Nice throwbacks. i, personally, liked seeing Moses.

@ JackieBoy...Nice haul.

ukmu 08-15-2017 02:01 AM

Jackie- well done! First in hand pics on the ark! David Vonner's good work has come to fruition. Northstar, Gold Ultron and Mutha Truckin' Skurge. The circle is complete, MU is finally complete.
#closure

Mordy, nailed it! You always make the amazing look brilliant. You are becoming one of the greats before our eyes, you get better and better with each wave. And you do them for the love of doing it, even better!!

Sender- while Joe may be hanging up his rifle, and Marvel on the last pages of a storied novel;hope springs eternal. Did you see the front page here today? 4 stories of New figures in our scale! The giant corporate toy peddler may be forgetting us, but the indy scene is KILLING it! The newest independent stuff is far superior to anything HASBRO has ever given us. Sure it is more expensive and not in stores, but it does exist. Existing means it is possible. They may not be characters we know and love but they are amazing! Just because one prick at HASBRO wants to shut us down, we will not go quietly into that good night.

I for one sir, will be there to wave my flag shoulder to shoulder until the bitter end.

Augustus_Cole 08-15-2017 02:56 AM

i like that cap figure...i'd buy him BUT..i'm sure he'll turn up in 6" scale one day since he's popular right now.

We will just have to agree to disagree here, it ain't over til the Banshee sings.

CCC.

ukmu 08-15-2017 03:12 AM

Was he ever shown?

I stated the end of the Vonner era because those three figures were teased, shown and even appeared as future releases for MU. He is for SURE a highly demanded figure, but was he ever shown in a case at a con as a finished figure and promised to be MU?

Northstar had a spare spot in the final wave even. Goldtron was shown in the BEST ever SDCC diorama and MF Skurge was in the Hasbro case there along side the other MU

Jackieboy 08-15-2017 03:17 AM

jesse jones wasnt available, but she will show up again will get spidey another time.also picked up the collectors vault, finally have a cosmo!!!
the cap figure is pretty good only draw back? no wrist articulation.the shield is cool, sturdy when popped together, and it slots into his back.
magneto is a great looking figure,he is articulated enough to get certain poses, and look closely you will notice a face sculpted in there.
gold ultron, same fig as before.im going to try out head switches on cap and magneto later tonight!

We have a new member going to stop by and say hello, En Sabah Nut. Wrote me to ask how to post links and pics and gave him a quick lesson.

So, hopefully the ice has been broken and he will say hello.

P.S. always find it weird when people just lurk forever but never join in. I for one, can never shut up.

These JUST arrived in the post from another member from the states! Our community is thriving if given the chance. Also, her eye is not deeply at all. Maybe a little, but I've hit worse! ;)

Pilkster 08-15-2017 04:38 AM

Does Strucker, Whiplash, and Blizzard count for Vonner Era? Think any of them will make it out limbo?

And UKMU, i'm there with you that the kickstarter scene is awesome and inspirational for our line. It's just sad that the big wigs and beancounters has made it come down to that: Independent companies producing our scale while the actual properties hang up their lines.

on the bright side, 3.75 collectors will evolve into great artists and engineers as they custom away turning generics into most-wanted brand characters.

Nothing was tooled for those guys though. It was only artwork and a proposal. Right?

ukmu 08-15-2017 08:15 AM

Just mock ups, part number listings and in house promo sheets. But yes, they would indeed be his legacy.

As to whether or not we will see them? Anyone's guess at this point brothers. If I were a betting man I would say no. I am an annoying optimist so I am hopeful.

Maybe some of the double dippers that collect both scales and follow the 6" thread could answer this better, do the 6" collectors highly regard Lord Stall? My guess would be yes as he has changed the game. Also the recent autograph exclusive Spidey points to yes. I ask because if he is their champion, then the absolute battering he receives here would come as shock to him IF he were to ever read it.

Your name seems mighty familiar... :D

This fella isn't related to me, I just feel the need to get that out there now to avoid possible confusion later.
