Let me clarify, the MARVEL LEGENDS Mohawk Storm. I didn't put "MARVEL LEGENDS" on "Mohawk Storm" originally since we were in the Marvel Legends thread already...it felt redundant.

PM the seller and as if they will sell u the item loose to save shipping costs, or check through their other auctions to combine things and make combined shipping worth while.

even without shipping, $35 for a loose figure just seems too much, since she was not more than $7 new. But anyways, I was just making an observation. I'm fine with my MU figure, and the 12" "doll" i actually got of her.
It'd sure be nice if MARVEL SELECT would do a figure of her.

Feijai 05-11-2014 11:08 AM

Just got the ML Wolverine from the Puck Series and it reallllllly sucks ass. The leg don't match up and the knee is fucked up for real. A big disappointment, Hasbro failed.

If I'm not mistaken there was a teaser image leaked for the Jubilee wave and there was a Storm figure in there. The ML figure you speak of is the variant, and she's an old Toybiz figure, so the value is there. I feel your pain though, sucks paying $30-40 for a loose figure.

ChuckSass 05-11-2014 06:23 PM

the face on mohawk storm was pretty fantastic though. That new one looks great though

What ever happened to the classic hawkeye figure that was supposed to release back when we got the ultimate version? Is that on the isle of forgotten toys or does anyone think we will see him??

aefranci 05-11-2014 08:31 PM

not sure if this is the right place to post...but i recently got the lower torso for Apocalypse and his right hip joint is stuck...i don't want to force it cause I know it's really easy to break..in fact i bought this piece specifically cause the guy I'm buying the complete apoc from broke his hip..

Does anybody have the same problem and was able to fix it?

Maybe it will be part of the Avengers 2 set in some way.

Yep I did the same thing, forced it and broke it. But it was the first time I touched a ML figure, I didn't know they were so hard to move. I would hit it with a blow dryer and warm the parts up and slowly try to move it from that point.

Hi guys, I have been searching for Marvel Legend Platinum series....I seen that the name of the new release Captain America cases. It's on toysRus and other online outlets. Same figures just called "Captain America Marvel Platinum 6 inch Legends Action Figure."

I hope Platinum means lower prices for best selling figure....lol

I'll try that today, if it doesnt work I guess apocalypse is just going to have to stand still...

I knew what you were talking about. I was just making a point that this more obscure stuff tends to go up in price the longer it's off store shelves. Figured using a similar product that actually warmed hard and now commands a stupid price was appropriate. None of the Mohawk Storm figures sold well at retail. Just because demand isn't through the roof for something from the start doesn't always mean it will be cheap and easy to obtain later on.

kylactus 05-13-2014 04:27 PM

^ just ask MU Vision....

warmachine6 05-13-2014 04:45 PM

I'm hoping Storm has a variant not a huge fan of the Mohawk

I don't see it selling too well. Girl figure do sell poorly with boys and a lot of us don't seem to like that look. Her Marvel Now costume is probably the best of the bunch for her Mohawk phases. At $20 a pop it can be a hard sell. I've seen a lot of Black Cat and Spider-girl figures hanging around lately even though they are supposed to be sought after. Although retail is $23 or $27 up here so that probably doesn't help.

That Man-Thing looks sick!

Here's a picture of the Black Widow figure!!!!! :D I need to get my photo box set up, sorry about the shadow.

Also, I painted the neck since there was black plastic showing through. It looks too light in the picture (And the face too dark) but that's just the flash.

Serious Lee 05-13-2014 07:45 PM

I loved the Mohawk cut ever since she lost her powers...uh...around 20 years ago lol, I have the old Mohawk Storm MOC, probably won't ever open it, but if I do I'll ditch the cape and paint her arms to give her short sleeves. On a side note, I totally love the teaser pic with Storm and the rest in there, her figure looks great, but IMO she doesn't deserve the Moonstone body, she needs the in between sculpt they are using but with original limbs and preferably flat feet, in fact the more I think about it, the more I can see that being an original.

@Betoxio - I've always enjoyed the Man-Thing figure too, and the base is perfect for when he used to slosh through the swamps! Is he still a T-Bolt now? Lol, I'm living in the past again!

What kind of paint did you use?
