MARVEL UNIVERSE AF ASST 201203 (C: 1-1-3) - Midtown Comics

I got so amped at seeing $35.98 i didnt bother to look up at the real price l!

mikefavata 07-16-2012 07:42 PM

That assortment better not be what the normal Wave 19 pre-order looks like.

Wave 19... so beautiful.

FF Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Kang, Punisher, Scarlet Witch... It's the perfect wave (except for the stupid bag variant that will push FF Spider-Man into revisions).

StarWarsPaul 07-16-2012 07:46 PM

My bad.

kang looks awesome.

mikefavata 07-16-2012 07:51 PM

There's so many Masters of Evil sets on eBay right now, after HTS sells out I think there will be a flooded market. I'm hoping it will drop to the $40's.

mikefavata 07-16-2012 07:52 PM

The eBay Exclusive (lol) Professor X/Blastaar/Jubilee wave seems to be dropping in price.

daking181 07-16-2012 07:55 PM

I broke down and paid $52 shipping included

WalkingDeadpool 07-16-2012 08:00 PM

I can see I'm going to be stuck with some crappy figs...I'm ordering all the new waves from my lcs...I don't have time to hunt...grrrrr..

D00MTR0N 07-16-2012 08:02 PM

I dont believe hasbro when they say stuff will be easy to find now, prove it.

I don't know if my guy came through or not. Either way, it'll be good if that price drops. If you want it, you should be able to get it without having to pay double.

I think that's a fair price. If I have to buy one, I'll settle for that price. Someone let me know if you see a Shockwave Hisstank at a good price.

A South Florida source has $60 shipped. :(

Jason Abbadon 07-16-2012 08:31 PM

NOt too bad really- you'll pay as much at Tate's or some other LCS, so if you want them, and would pay $20 each for them seperately...

Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of the 80's MoE storyline where Zemo wrecked the Avengers live no one else ever has- and I have a Goliath in the works from a 12" John Cena.

FancyPants 07-16-2012 08:32 PM

Guys, I have a question. Regarding the masters of evil. Stating wonder man is a member, but in the civil war, he's flying side by side with ms marvel. He's currently in my avengers display, should be on his way to my MOE?

I'm getting that pack first chance I get. I missed out on 49.99 shipped.

Radioactive man and tiger shark are growing on me

I used a little quake hold in the head of the MU Black Widow. It sits a little loose without some putty there. I like this one better because you get better arm articulation since this figure has elbow swivels.

Is Quakehold like super glue? And is it easy to remove? I looked up Quakehold and they have two types - gel or wax - which is better for action figures?

No- it's not glue at all, but putty that sticks great but peels off clean and does not hurt paint.
It's made to keep stuff upright in an earthquake.

Wonder Man as on the old old old OLD MoE team- but turned on them and saved the Avengers, getting "killed" in the process.
Later he revived (as he's made od energy he cant die, duh) and joined the Avengers with his best friend...the Beast.

Seriously. They were best buds- the classic Red Romin two-parter starts with them coming back to the mansion totally shitfaced after partying all night in the city.

Hey LM, if you don't mind, what are the dimensions and weight on the SDCC Helicarrier? I am just trying to get an estimate as to what the shipping on HTS will be.
