Testors Model Masters acrylic. They make an almost white paint called Skin Base and a darker one (like sunburnt skin) called Skin Tint, you can mix the 2 paints to make different skin shades.

Bad joke....

I also "tried" to do a similar job, I was going for that Venom Mid transforming look. Michael Fox looks like he didn't care about line work with the Venom symbol and said f**k it.

Sadly my symbol looks similar, but intentionally somewhat sloppy.

agreed! but I would sell off Magneto and Wolverine. I want that Jubilee! Storm and Cyclops look amazing though. I wish Magik or Kitty were in the line though.

ultraman zoffy 05-14-2014 11:28 AM

TRU exclusive? Weeeeeak. Instant price hike and PITA hunting trips inevitable. TRU's in my area suck bad when it comes to stocking Legends figures (or anything else recent), so I'll probably have to wait until these hit online retailers.
I haven't actually set foot in a TRU in about 6 months, and I'd like to keep that streak going if possible. lol

Are you talking about the "All New" box set? or the new Jubilee BAF?

I see box set ending up at Ross/TJ Maxx or one of those places. The TRU by my has had 5-6 for a while now. I don't see anybody buying them on Ebay either.

*EDIT Nevermind I thought that was the old link with the Japanese page. I see now.

Yeah I'll probably keep all but Mags, just cause if I don't have the 3.75 of them I'll opt for the 6 inch and trying to keep it that way. I hope they do Marvel Now Magic and Emmma as well:P I like the bondage look on them:P

Yeah I returned my All New X-Men box just cause I see it shelf warming and hoping it does and it forces TRU to put that bad box on sale:P I know the SDCC X-Factor 3.75 set eventually went on clearance online so hopefully this does as well!

Lol...thanks for the pic shoutout man. I am lucky..to have gotten them at a good price! Based on the prices I've seen them going for lately....there won't be any more Doombots in cards for me in the foreseeable future!! :p

Not a big X fan but still loving the TRU wave that's coming. Ive really gotten Legends fever lately :D. With that in mind here's a little appreciation of my hauls from last week and this week.

warmachine6 05-14-2014 03:21 PM

hold everything possible I just realized we didn't get a phoenix five cyclops "because it's not an up to date costume" - anyone else remember ?
.....
now as much as i like magneto Why did Hasbro say this when we get the 90's version for magneto? But not a Marvel Now or at least ultimate one ????

Hasbro = bunch of hypocrites

I was wondering about that too, all they had to do was paint it white and remove the sleeves...

Serious Lee 05-14-2014 04:19 PM

TRU???? WTF? That company has one foot in the grave, and a June release date....maybe. Yes, I'm not trying to hide my disappointment at the news of 2 or 3 great figures that I may never see. What's the new Storm on eBay at right now? $80-$90? Lol, TRU must have backed up the money truck onto Hasbro's lawn for this to have happened.

When will Hasbro see the light on this? Build a shack beside the 'action figure production warehouse', and sell directly to the collector for retail prices! (Or less please!) This will be the first time a store exclusive kicks me in the face, yes, probably a long time coming, but the point is TRU is terribly unorganized and as any of us know who bought in the 4 months, they jack up prices weekly when something is in demand!

If you chuckle about my frustration, and feel free of course to explain your laughter, please use the word 'incensed', thank you.

ultraman zoffy 05-14-2014 04:47 PM

Not that I care about Jubilee much, but for anyone not wanting to buy all the figures with BAF parts, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to just take the BAF arms and head and slap them onto a Spider-Girl body, seriously. Add something yellow for a coat, and bam, you're in there. Oh, and don't forget to remove the spider logo and paint a zipper on her too. lol

i suggest looking early mornings at TRU for you then but i do feel your pain glad i bought black cat and AIM at CBS prices rather than wasting double that amount on ebay

Mexicanland 05-14-2014 05:41 PM

Could someone post some pics of the hasbro marvel legends 2- pack hulk next to some of the other bigger hasbro marvel legends? Thanks.

VashTS 05-14-2014 07:13 PM

THe new pics make the figures seem disappointing? Wolverine look very ravashing, Cyclops looks like a straight repaint, Magneto body looks out dated, Storm didn't really focus on her, I really wish Jubilee have the shorts...Stryfe looks killer, I wonder what Hasbro screwed up on him to penny pinch.

25 dollars per figure and no big BAF still and no movie figures. I hope come SDCC, someone takes them to task and ask them tough journalistic type questions but I won't hold my breath.

I really think they did not want to create movie figures for X-men because they did not want to make an excuse about why no Sentinels, or Nimrod or any other cool stuff that they MAY have to create new molds for.

Feijai 05-14-2014 08:42 PM

All I want is a X-Force Shatterstar

Seeing jubilee all chopped up like that looked really creepy. If they included a piece with wolverine bam you have an OML flashback.

Naw magik has to lose that suit. It's terrible. The one she has in new mutants 1 is the best.

I am lost in the comics though. Emma is the white queen no? So why the black leather? Also did they retconn her diamond abilities?

aefranci 05-14-2014 09:57 PM

Giant man baf for a $120 shipped is that a good price?

Sorry about the vanilla no-frills pics. I figured you just wanted a size comparison...
