I'm honestly not so sure about this. Even if the movie becomes a runaway success, we likely won't get a second wave until whenever the second Black Panther movie comes out, and by then some characters might not even be relevant anymore (we know that more often than not, MCU villains end up getting killed off).

I mean, Thor gets two movie figures, Hela, a new Loki, Valkyrie and Gladiator Hulk yet for BP we're just stuck with Black Panther?

And don't get me wrong, I don't think there's any sort of racial conspiracy going on, I think Hasbro just dropped the ball on this one.

Also, come on. If you saw Hasbro's presentation, nobody in that audience was excited for Black Bolt.

I think there'd be more hype around Inhumans action figures if the show didn't look like it was gonna suck (and be real, they pretty much admitted the show was the reason we're getting Inhuman figures).

That and there are characters who haven't gotten figures yet they could have done like Karnak or Triton.

I've seen plenty others disappointed over this wave. I would take any Black Panther related character(comic or MCU) over Black Bolt and Namor any and every day of the week.

Moon Knight and Spidey have teamed up in the comics and then recently-ish in that Spider-Man cartoon (the one where I'm told he used the costume like the figure). Though I've heard that his representation in the cartoon wasn't very good but what should we expect from including a character who's comic stories are often more adult leaning into a children's cartoon? In either case it's still valid to note that Hasbro does include many figures in themed waves that they seem to have no place in.
Not sure if I'll pick him up. I like Black Bolt well enough but I'm trying to curb down how many I get. My only hope for the figure though is that he includes an alternate calm head that's not yelling. Other than that he looks ace. I also hope Namor comes with a re-use of the Walgreens figure head and not just the beard one.

I never bought the old Hasbro Legends one (Just got the baf piece) and I've never opened my Comic Con exclusive pack so having this Black Bolt in the wave is awesome.

Plus that Namor is fantastic!

Just checked the panel images and saw that Namor does have the classic head so that's cool.

ive been to other figure forums and nobody wants black bolt or namor, everybody is hyped up about black panther, me included. plus if you look at the video of the presentation, you can hear crickets when they mention black bolt lol

I'm going to disagree there. Well, I guess it depends what Figuarts line you are referring to, but Hasbro will never be able to top Star Wars Figuarts for the human characters. I couldn't care less about the Marvel ones the (although I do want Spidey for the wall).

Yes... no... er kind of? I want a villains wave, but it doesn't have to be a MCU version one. I just want more villains in my collection. I mean, right now, not including Spidey villains, I have 3 villain shelves, 1 for X-Men villains (Juggernaut, TB Magneto, Dark Phoenix, and Onslaught) and 2 for villains in general (Ultron, Dreadknight, Whirlwind, Batroc, Thundra, Dormammu, Doctor Doom, Taskmaster, Demolisher, Abomination, Red Skull, Eel, Cottonmouth, and Absorbing Man). Oh, and I guess Thanos, Hela, and Enchantress on my Cosmic shelf. Meanwhile, I've got 8 shelves of heroes that aren't Spider-Man (3 X-Men, 5 everyone else).

So yeah, I need more villains in this line.

At first I thought I would say how stupid I feel 90s Jean looks and that I don't need her, but since I got my Phoenix (for me the definitive version of Jean), and I do want to have a 90s toon team after I get a full Cockrum/Byrne team, I wouldn't mind a reissued version of her with a pony tail.

Sorry, the point I was trying to make is that Hasbro should of took a chance a did something historic and made all the figures black, not because they are black, but because perfect sense, because BP and his supporting cast are the stars of the MCU!...Sorry for my not understanding your point...I like the character selection for the BP Wave, but I still think it was a bad move not to have some of BP cast as part or the majority of the wave...But, maybe BP?..It is what is...But, aleast we fans get an update version of Black Bolt, which I have been wanting for a while, hope he is better than the Box Set version...Can't wait to see...And, Classic Namor, many Marvel Legends fans, I included, wanted this to happen...Surprise!..Didn't see that coming, just like Hasbro, never falls!...Lol...Now time to check those Marvel Selects...

Note: Heimdall has been on my want list for a long time, Hasbro could easily have thrown him in a Thor Wave or two or three...SMH!

People are disappointed we are not getting a proper Black Panther character related wave. It's doesn't matter if it's comic or MCU. As a Black man, playing the race card is a fools game that I never play. It's just disappointing that THIS is the wave they went away from the trend that was so great this past year.

However people on here saying no one likes Black Bolt or cares is the reason I replied.

I agree that it is a bit far off to say "no one" likes Black Bolt. This Black Bolt looks like it will make a good addition to anyone's collection, however, I'm still disappointed we didn't get more Black Panther related character. Here's to hope for the sequel. Lol

Let the movie be the runaway success it looks like it's setting up to be and they'll appropriately re-evaluate the potential of Panther...

When your favorite stuff is getting screwed over in your eyes, it sucks.

I feel the same way about X-Men movie related stuff. Logan was one of the best films of the year and didn't get jack. Same thing with X-Men Days of Future Past.

Now X-Men Apocalypse, I'll admit wasn't very good but damn... would have killed for some figures lol.

I know we got X-Men Comic figures but I'm just meaning the movie stuff.
