He's already Marvel's answer to Bats...they just don't know it yet, bruh. ;)

February can't get here soon enough. Time for the King to shine.

Especially when people have resorted to saying it's racist lmao!

you hit the nail right on the head brotha ! these are TOYS for crying out loud..... these seems similar to what i recall reading years ago online about the first transformer movie. apparently it was racist because they killed i want to say "jazz" and he was somehow supposedly a black transformer. however there was a uproar about that too.... idk

can't we all just get along and talk about legends here ? granted there are a handful of members here im really not so fond of, however most of us try to just be cordial for the most part and keep talking about the hobby.

When your favorite stuff is getting screwed over in your eyes, it sucks.

I feel the same way about X-Men movie related stuff. Logan was one of the best films of the year and didn't get jack. Same thing with X-Men Days of Future Past.

Now X-Men Apocalypse, I'll admit wasn't very good but damn... would have killed for some figures lol.

I know we got X-Men Comic figures but I'm just meaning the movie stuff.

I still have all of my old Toybiz X-Men movie figures, lol. I was hoping something would get worked out marketing wise so we could get new X-Men movie figures. They've updated the costumes well enough to where they would look so cool in Legends form.

We're on the same page. I love talking about Legends with you all whenever I get a chance. This is our form of art and my favorite hobby. You all are awesome and everyone seems easy to get along with once we find common ground...Legends.

Many people were underwhelmed by the reveals, as a whole. A number of people expressed being underwhelmed on this very thread. I even discussed with an arker in PM being underwhelmed after he shared that he was underwhelmed. So when a few of those underwhelmed individuals complain about the BP wave also underwhelming them, what's the big deal?

Some people thought the Dr Strange wave sucked (too many Stranges) - I liked it. Some people thought the Giantman/Antman wave sucked (Nick Fury, Red Guardian, and cooler than expected Nuke?) - go figure, I liked it. From all that I've seen, namely Black Bolt and Namor, I'm also going to like this BP wave, despite some thinking it sucked, based solely on the virtue that those two characters make it suck less than most of the other stuff shown at the con (IMO).

I caution people to avoid 'projecting' what they think others are upset with before exploring what those other people are actually upset with. For those unaware of the psychological definition of projection; look it up, learning shit is cool contrary to popular beliefs. For those that are lazy and would rather be told; the phenomenon is essentially a defense mechanism in which someone projects their own beliefs/ideas/traits onto someone else, when in reality, this is a fallacy.

FYI: my personal 'underwhelmed opinion' following the con, outside of no Surfer (or Blue Marvel WTF?), was due to the figs looking a bit cheap on second glance. It was akin to sobering up and seeing that lady you were pushin' up on, in better light and sans beer goggles...I mean, really, I'd thrown back a couple last night, but that defenders set is trash!

Well said.

Upon looking at the panel again, I think people are taking the lackluster reveal of Black Bolt the wrong way. It's not a knock on the character or the toy, and lots of people want a chance to get a new Black Bolt and will be excited. But at that panel people were all hyped for new and exciting never before seen figures, especially after building it up with those nice Entertainment Weekly photos from the Black Panther movie. But then, Hasbro followed it up with a picture of the new Black Bolt. And then another Namor. And then...nothing. They didn't even show off the actual Black Panther figure of all things. It was a huge presentation fail on Hasbro's part, and it killed the crowd.

Also I showed that Defenders box set to my wife last night, she totally said exactly what you said. At first I wanted to defend the set, but looking at it again, Hasbro really phoned it in here to make a cheap figure set in a fancy box for Amazon.

We are in the Golden Age of superhero films. Justice League, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Infinity War, New Mutants, Deadpool 2, Aquaman, Dark Phoenix. Come on guys, this is phenomenal!

Would this be before or after Super-Skrull?

Yeah, I still have mine up on a shelf. Some of them are still pretty decent.

I'm just happy to get that Luke Cage.

I've never opened my Thunderbolts Comic Con box and I've always wanted to replace that 70's Luke Cage with the new version.

Those are 12" figures. I think the Weapon X version is a store exclusive. Can't remember if the X-Force version is an exclusive too.

I want that Luke Cage figure, too. I've wanted that character for my ML shelf for a long time.

But when I look at it, I think Hasbro Marvel Legends 2013, and that's not a good thing. I really think that like Iron Fist before him, Hasbro could go back to the drawing board and do the character some justice with a whole new figure.

Yeah! I have the variant Invisible Woman, Sabretooth, and Toad. The only two I have a problem with are Rogue and Colossus. The Colossus figure is good, but the designs for these two particular figure never struck right with me. I still keep them on display because as a unit they all look great.

I've never been able to find Thunderbolts Cage for a reasonable price, so I'm happy to see it getting rereleased.

Yes. Wish I was able to go back and tell my younger self what 2008-2019 would be in terms of my favorite heroes. I don't give a crap if it's DC or Marvel, I'm having the time of my life.

If you'd told me we'd have major films featuring someone like Mantis even a decade ago, I wouldn't have believed you.

Just saw the infinity war trailer !!! bad ass!! try and find it if you can, disney/marvel keeps taking it down.

On the subject of box sets, I just found out Ghost is gonna be one of the villains in the Ant-Man sequel. Hoping this gets Hasbro to do a single card release of the Thunderbolts Ghost from SDCC.

Thanks. I should be getting a ML Archangel soon. The current ML Iceman has ice parts coming out of his body and is a different look probably from a newer comic series. I don't read many of the new comics.
