now THAT is fucking funny right there!!!
Everyone always says LOL,when it it is more of a two second grin, but I actually laughed loudly out loud. Kudos mate, you nailed it.

That Kingpin looks ace as well. The kitbash from the 6" Arkham Penguin was perfection personified.

nice one LordM, this is also my first time knowing the existence of this character! upon wiki-ing his data, i realize he was named after real chinese divinities. Lei Kung literally means Thunder God, & his subsequent alias was far more exaggerated... Yu Ti, i believe, is literally the Jade Emperor or ruler of Heavan. :)

GREETINGS from THE LABORATORY, I've got a W.I.P THE 1st member of my SUPER SKRULL TEAM KL'RT.
Keep Creating guys.

Jackieboy 09-04-2017 04:10 PM

love those Kingpin shots, bro! shame that penguin figure isnt fully articulated though.
the cool thing about that stark armor is that it has modular ports so if you are really clever with customising you could work wonders with it.otherwise its just a pretty nice background prop to have in your hall of armors!

ukmu 09-05-2017 12:24 AM

One of the nicest looking Kl'rt renditions I've seen in a while! Love the way you hang them! I take it apart, paint one piece and hold it like an idiot for 45 minutes. (JK) I am implementing that next time. It is the way auto painters do it, so it makes sense.

Agree about the Kingpin not being articulated to an extent JB. I feel he doesn't need to be dynamic in possibility terms, but some helps. Also, too much articulation on a large white suite sticks out like a sore thumb. I think the garage kit Kingpin of Vort has too much articulation (I don't say that often) and actually breaks the eye away from its form. I mean let's be honest, he stands, he smokes, he holds a cane. Three poses and sorted! ;)

Lord Mudd, he looks ace! Had to Google him but spot on. 92?!?! Wow, that is a feat my friend. Have you someone special planned for number 100? Can we have help you decide by chance? Could be fun.

Sorry I didn't get any pics shot this weekend gang. I was VERY busy. In fact, it is Tuesday morning at 8:20 and the lad is just out the door for his first day of school here. Three different in home nurse visits Monday, helping a mate move on Sunday and Saturday had to go shopping with my mother-in-law. Pretty much each was as bad or worse than they sounded. I will get some going this week and save them maybe?

Got a lot done on Supreme Intelligence though. Looking forward to showing you guys.

yea bro, the articulation has to lack to compensate for the 'clean seemless-ness' look ;)

modular ports... arghhh... it's a shame i'm illiterate in LED customizing. would love to mess with lightings very much!

i've got some unique ideas for Hall of Armor, let's see what happens in future... :D

exact same sentiments, ukmu. i've yet to see Vort's version though :)

it's good to be busy, plus how many in reality can accommodate in-laws these days? *Hydra salute*

i'll put it this way -

exiting trains our individual patience;
exciting propels our collective vision.

so there, intermittent (even long pauses) can be productive!

I'm going to pick up the single carded version of Penguin. It's a black suit deco, but Kingpin has worn that as well - I'd prefer the white look, but I'll live. With the Toybiz head it will obviously be him. The single version is only $15-$25.

What's the height on the Kingpin custom. Looks like it is right at the 4 inch mark. Thanks!

the 'perfect' kit-bash? it's exactly 10.5cm/4.1"

wonder how this one fits in -

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Great Kingpin, En Sabah Nut!

Nice Captain Universe and Lei Kung, Lord Mudd!

i like the works in progress, Creator (the Super arm around the regular Skrull was a nice touch) and EzToyDude (i love marvel/joe hybrids)!

Those might work for more talented customizers. I wanted to do that 4 inch DeVito Multiverse Penguin, but I don't like the tie on it.

i think kingpin can do a little bit more than standing around smoking and holding canes to be fair to the character ukmu!but if you just want one to hang around in the background then cool.USAGENTS custom is exactly what id be looking for,i prefer the black suit version.
en sabah id love to replace galactus and sentinels current lighting system with proper LEDS.i love how craig warrack uses them on some of his customs.

Thanks UKMU. I thought that everyone used airbrush. Dude I breakdown every single piece, and sand. Then use acetone in a glass jar to eliminate any left over factory paint. While using acetone be quick, it's really strong. Hurry and rinse, let dry. Then I paint, ZERO paint rub. From 1 evil genius to another.........CREATOR OUT!!!
