MU Defenders
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/nU...=w1680-h945-no

The Jewel figure is pretty cool to have. Sucks no wrist or torso artic, of course. The face is great. Hope they reuse it on the relaunch :) The hair is softer, easier than Enchantress's to turn her head.

Here's another WTF with this wave though. The sash is sculpted on. Why spend $$ on the tooling for a new torso (again with no artic) when you could just use the existing torso and mold a sash separately like Captain Marvel? What other characters have a diamond broach and sash?

Seriously, with this and the money spent on Hydra Cap, its like they were given some little budget, know this line isn't going ANYWHERE, and just spent it on stupid shit. These guys fucking this line over constantly. Fuck Stall and Vala too. Falcon and all those guys. You guys are morons.

this really got me wondering what goes on in the minds of children in shopping malls. seeing those Marvel figurines irregardless of scale, is like "to buy... or not to buy". assuming in general, the younger the consumer the less aware they are or even bother to catch up with the hey-days of Marvel Comics (movies aside). i'm imagining the real patrons to be the earlier generations that have grown into adult bodies, while still satisfying the inner childe/fan-boy within. so ukmu i see a kind of looping going on, father preserving the legacy while child reminds father of his youthfulness, thus further reinforcing the bonding

Will post picks later..........CREATOR OUT......!!!!!

How were the mountains, Creator? I know you were secretly looking for Wendigo.

Il Cattivo 09-14-2017 01:18 PM

how was it finding wendigo in the alps?

ukmu 09-14-2017 01:37 PM

Also, loved the last Stall joke Il Cattivo, in fact it made me do a dad dab for the roast he got. The cringe is real....

Like that Gamora (but already did a Custom) but don't care for that Ultron.

Awesome pic!!!

Prem1x 09-15-2017 07:36 AM

Thanks ev1.

While I've got that background out, here's my two Shockers. I'll be hiding the new one somewhere. The scale creep is just a little bothersome but I can get over it. Its just the painted lines are so BAD! The mess on his neck is worse on his sides where the lines don't match up and come up short against the brown costume.

All the old one needs is a paint wash (rub off extra right away) and some home made gauntlets. (which I already had)

Madame Warlock 09-15-2017 08:51 AM

Man the old shocker looks so much cooler.

Also those Pops look great. I wish they'd make them in their 4" scale that'd be amazing. I'd love the Ultron vs. Sigma pack, and a decent 4" Zero.

this is jealousy!! the former Shocker rocks overall, height is actually less of a bother so long as you pose it abit.

ukmu 09-15-2017 11:34 AM

I can see!!!!

Great appreciation brother!!!!

Really looking forward to getting Jessica Jones for sure.

Got the X-Men out for some Saturday fun time. Will have to dig out the Blackbird jet, and of coarse it is in the box at the back and the bottom.

Hope to see another great photo weekend! The whole X theme is just an idea, please feel free to post what YOU want to. It is a theme just seems fun and gives a rough outline of what to do.

En Sabah Nut 09-15-2017 11:40 AM

going with ukmu's suggestion, i shall initiate the topic of the week(end) by presenting... a test shot of the X-Men family portrait -

Thx. I'm guessing that is the answer because the first pic was hosted by photos.google.com. Some of you couldn't see it but some could. Not sure what else it would be.

Autobot_Goldbug 09-15-2017 08:30 PM

It is mind boggling that they would create a whole new sculpt just for JJ's belt.
