Yeah, I pretty much said the same thing on another site. I think 18 will be my last pre-order from them. I've found just about everything else at retail at one point in time anyway.

I'm not a fan of the red mandarin either. I hate to say it but I honestly don't know what other characters they will do for iron man 3. I'd like to see a rescue figure and finally a modular armor iron man with a huge ass proton canon like in mvc2. When I was at the panel at sdcc, other arkers and I were wondering if the iron man 3 line will be heavy on the legends scale.

with a character like iron man, there's so damn many. I can't see every movie getting good toys. Just wont happen. Maybe a few here and there. I wasn't going to risk that green mandarin sky rocketing before the next movie. I was never ever going to pay 50 for him. Rather hit my...self with a hammer.

I liked the first issue. I have to read the 2nd book over again since it takes place after the war of kings. I finished up that story along with the thanos imperative.

Wait for the movie figure and repaint her, same figure, use a decal for the dragon

so i just received an avengers black widow body to paint up for someone on another board and i noticed she actually has quasi rocker ankles. i was under the impression that everyone said they were just hinged ankles. i say quasi cuz they're just like the MU figures cept not as intuitive.

anyways, now i may actually need one for myself, but still hoping for a good retail find.

I was reading some of the posts about the BBTS increase on the newest MU wave and wanted to share some info. I asked them about this on Twitter and this was their response:

"One issue is Hasbro increased prices but the main issue is that Wave 1 had 2 sets of 5 per case, wave 2 has 1 set of 5 per case"

"we have less viable product per case, higher cost per product and a need to recoup our investment on the case"


I also wanted to share how my wife appreciates my figures...she makes them do things like dance.

I can all but guarantee I won't be able to find the SW at retail which is why I pre-ordered. If I can find it at retail I'll cancel.

And kang is going to be a bitch to find.. i just pre orderd the case of 12 ill trade the others or return them to walmart or target ;)

Between Retail, and interactions on different sites, I have been able to get every new figure that has come out since wave 1... I have never pre-ordered MU figs from any site...

Admittedly I have bought a few here and there when they first come out on ebay for 13.99...but then find them in stores...

I trust I will find them, and everyone here should too!

Yup that's what I'll do with my spare figures that I don't need...probably be getting gift cards or what not:p
And yes SW may be hard to get...like I said before and I'll have to agree with BBTS, crappy wave assortment from Hasbro...
I would go retail but it depends on where I'll be at the time....if I know I was going be where I'm at now than I wouldn't worry...but alas it may not be...

Ya almost better to just pick up the case and use the extras as trade/return bait. With the cost and shipping of the full case it's about $10.41 per figure.

You could just get adventureous and put the rockers from a Storm Shadow on the Capt. Britian CP Spidey- he'd have thigh swivel then too!
