The head and thigh holster look the same. I think the legs and arms might be new.

It was confusing how EE "exclusively" got the set early. They never declared it was their exclusive but the part where nobody else put it up for pre-order made it kinda look like it was an EE exclusive. I skipped on the vol2 Star-lord deliberately because of this pack so I'm quite eager to get my hands on it.

I've got a stack of Starlords, I wouldn't mind that Ego, but I won't go out of my way to get him.

I got denied at 3 different Target stores this week. I was looking for the Justice League Multiverse figures and Brickseek said almost all stores had them. 3 stores I went to told me the same thing, that they could not sell them till the 1st because they are setting a new toy mod this week. SO I am betting the Thor figures are the same with the few exceptions that got on the shelves early.

I was thinking the same thing. I went out yesterday to check and found nothing even though Brickseek said the stores had them. I am wondering if they are holding back until a shelf date. I checked today and with the exception of two figures (employee purchase likely) the numbers had not changed.

Got my Thor wave today. Good lord there's a lot of accessories...I knew there were some but I had no idea it was this much. Like all the figures, Hela and Loki and Hulk most especially...I can't really count Ares as I think it's a straight repack of the BAF that I have. would have preferred Executioner but it is what it is..still going to try and get the SDCC set as I think i like that Odinson and JF Thor better than what came in the wave...but they are still solid figures, JF Thor more than Odinson of course. He's slightly derpy.

So a very solid wave for me. Even more solid for those that do not have Ares.

Whatever mental midget dingleberry decided FREAKIN' toys should have have a street date should be stabled sack and bound to a chair with barded wire and force to warch endless hours of the teletubbies while listening to to that song from walking dead daryl had to listen to on an endless loop.

That sucks if they are holding them until the 1st. I'm usually off in the morning, but of course that day I'm working early.

What's Hascon?

Where can you find the DPCI number for upcoming releases?

It's a convention focused only on Hasbro lines like Transformers, GI Joe, Marvel, etc. Not sure of the exact details like what they will show or if the Marvel Legends team will be there.

Gotta love when you go on a Toy Hunt and find almost exactly what you're looking for right away.


Went to a local Walgreens and found Movie Thor and Loki (Loki was the figure I wanted second most from this wave, behind Ares, who unfortunately I couldn't find). Both figures are fantastic. Hasbro has seriously upped their game on these movie figures, because the likenesses are bordering on Figuarts quality.

I really hope we see at least one or two of the X-Men legends at Hascon, or very least NYCC. Toy Fair is too long to wait!!!!

It's the Photo Real Technology they talked about at Comic Con. I can't get enough of it. As far as the Thor wave, this is THE best head sculpt we've had for an MCU Thor. Hela is an all around joy to have. Loki should be taller, but his sculpt and face make up for it. Hulk is...HULK. I love this wave, and can't wait for the 2-Pack.

Is this similar to the printing technique Bandai uses for the S.H. Figuarts?

I know this is a Marvel Legends thread but forgive me for a second, I am beyond furious at scalpers. I was working kind of far from where I live today and there was a ToysRUs. Just so you know this happened at the White Plains ToysRUs in New York. I found Trypticon and I was super happy, sat through a bunch of traffic and I finally got home about 2 hours later. I open it up and somebody swamped it for another figure scalpers are the biggest pieces of shit on the planet.

I believe so. I wasn't too familiar with the printing technique until a few months ago, but it looks to be similar. I know a lot of people here don't care for it, but I find it fresh and realistic since I collect MCU figures. When I see Hasbro make this kind of effort, it makes me excited for the future of the line.

Now to HOPE and PRAY the TRU service desk employee doesn't say you swapped it.
