sometimes you or somebody else posts an epic pic and it gets lost behind several pages of non appreciation waffle!

I appreciate it man.

And as I said, it's mostly just me being a little b about it. I withdrew for a while from the forums, but I'm making an effort to engage again.

Nice Pics dude.

The herc buck is so great. I've got so many great customs on that buck it's not even funny.

It makes me angry that Hasbro did the work and then squandered it by only releasing a few figures on that mold.

LordMudd 09-21-2017 01:25 PM

I like getting noticed but I don't rely on it. The other group I am on is almost dead, which makes it easy to tell how many people are looking at my pics based on the increase in views after I post. As for people commenting, everyone has different tastes. It is like the saying "I can't tell you what art is but I know it when I see it."

and not to disrepect the 4" thread, but since we were talking about mr. Can O Beams, i just wanted to show Prem1x a few of my fav pieces from him ..

Amazing pics sir. i love the female sculpted waist removal. I cant explain why but they look more femanine if that makes sense.

I remeber you showed that spiderman along time ago and as a huge Spidey fan I had to copy it and now he is front and center of my Avengers line up

I and I think a few members feel the same way about the pic sharing and no comments. it does take time to make, snap and upload and post and to get 1 comment can be a pain and used to bother me at the begining but i just plod a long and share what I can when I have the time.

keep sharing everyone the this new community spirit has brought the thread back to life instead of reading all the negativity.. wow Im sounding like UKMU... :)

Yeah I thought about getting some of those dragonball effects for Iron Man or War Machine but never ended up doing it.

Prem1x 09-21-2017 01:35 PM

Nice effects! Those are legit. I'll have to quickly close this tab tho so my son doesn't see those DBZ figures and want me to buy them for him...

That Psylocke. Looks awesome

So is the Megaman X and Iron 2 pack supposed to be out yet?
The game is out, but I aint seen the figures in every Target I been to so far..
I'm glad I didn't buy the special edition. Yall see the infinity stones that look like Easter Eggs? You couldn't even take them out of the box.

Great shots!

From whence does the column originate? And Ares' sword?

LordMudd 09-21-2017 06:34 PM

The column is from wedding cake accessories available at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc. available in 3", 5", and 7" lengths.

Good spot! I don't think we have a Hobby Lobby over here, but we should have some kind of alternative.

On another note; does anyone know if the latest (last?) MU wave is getting a general release? Seems like it's still only cropping up here and there and costing a bomb.

Most definitely much appreciated,D Day! With or without the cool backdrops (which make your pics awesome wallpaper I might add), I appreciate each & every picture posted here. I may not comment on all of them but it's not to say I've overlooked them. I've even shared them with friends and family. Best way to explain the joy is reliving that childhood nostalgia of looking at figure cardbacks/vehicle boxes/catalogs/newspaper displays and being immersed in that toy line's splendor. And on the flip side, the weekend party pictures of late have inspired me to take pictures (which I assure you is not my forte) if not to join in the fun and celebration.

LordMudd 09-21-2017 11:31 PM

The key to a great pic is finding the perfect layout, which is not easy, but when you do you just know it and it makes you feel good, no matter how crappy your camera is.

You're pics are outstanding D Day!!!
I appreciate them always even if I don't say. I too stopped posting on other sites for the same reason, no likes. Trivial bit I feel the same.

Pilk, HASBRO will be in force in London next month at MCM.

Also, I finally have a running dialogue with Jesse Falcon. We have been "small" talking for awhile. Maybe 15 messages back and forth. He answers within a day. So I have briefly mentioned scale stuff and he seems receptive to an open discussion. I will ask if I can "interview" him and ask three questions to post here?.... it is a start, he might say no but it is a bit of an in. What single question would YOU ask? I will do my best.

Thanks Sender

Probably not mate, I can't see stores stocking them.... they are on eBay locally for about £15 which is retail and cheap shipping.

Marvel Universe & Marvel Legends Action Figures | UK Seller!
This guy has most left, is ordering more. If you want Mags or JJ call him up and get it going. Not likely to ever see them at a lower price as they will increase as final waves usually do in toys.

4Pcs set Roman Column Tiers Plate Set Cake Wedding Birthday Party Decoration | eBay
Here are some cake columns on the cheap. Other sizes available if you look at sellers other items

Great pics guys. Pics do take a long time to set up. Hours sometimes. I am honoured that everyone that does do it shares with us. Still about half, maybe less, of the guys here NEVER post a single pic ever. I hope that changes but it is what it is. I will do some one week late X-Men pics this weekend as I should have some time.

The Creator 09-22-2017 02:35 AM

GREETINGS from THE CREATOR. First off I would like to say that D DAY your pics are awesome. No pun intended. Your customs are sweet also. Dude there is no way that anyone could not like your stuff. You are not acting like a B, you are just looking for likes for the effort that has been spent. I or should say we understand. Keep creating bro....CREATOR OUT!!!!!

I get frustrated when I spend time posting pics only to get a smart ass critique of the poses, unless it's in jest.

This thread moved so damn fast it's hard to keep up with all the amazing pics, so don't take the lack of comments or "likes" personally D day. I know sometimes I mean to comment on something but before I get to it the thread is already 4 pages forward and I can't find it... kind of like that amazing display room someone posted pics of recently it was so amazing and so many great customs I meant to ask about.

Prem1x 09-22-2017 06:48 AM

Don't worry about the likes. Just keep posting to show the world 4" Marvel should come back bigger than ever.

Zombie Labs is going to try to sell a diorama like this. I swear I seen these before with changeable backgrounds. Anyone know where?
