I'm so obsessive that I use Excel as well on top of the two notebooks I have but in the other I also keep track of back Issue comics I need

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a reasonably priced classic uniform (eggbeater head) Havoc?

Can be loose. Let me know, I just can't being myself to buy or display the modern costume one.

Scrambled to TRU before work today in hopes of snagging the new cp's...none to be found, although I did see they had the hellicarrier on the shelves...passed not because it was 69.99, but I just didnt want it...(had some to do with space issues, but for the most part I didnt want it b/c it sucks...)

I mean no offense to those who have it/like it...but it just doesnt seem justifiable to me...I mean the cap figure it comes with SUCKS...also, there is not much displayability there, peg holes are nice, but you cant really put figures in the thing...

This is no dirt in the eye to whoever has it, just not for me

Symbiote 07-21-2012 08:28 AM

Yesterday's haul
Kitty and the Emperor will be custom fodder.

I'm actually really excited that TRU has these. In scale with MU figures. Go niners!

I definitely feel u, it's horribly out of scale, the figures look rediculous on it. The only reason I'd get it is to use with hero clix or something like that, but I can't justify spending that much money on it.

Of course just my opinion, and everyone knows opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and most all of them stink.

Haha Willis giving Juggy the stiff arm. The BBTS Dreadnok 7pack Red Dog figure comes with a football accessory. One of my favorite 3.75" accessories.

This is what they ask licensors to use in the style guide. Its just the default art.

It's definitely something that takes some thought into buying first.
Personally I'm going to get it eventually. The out of scale aspect doesn't bother me since I plan on loading it down with micromachine scaled vehicles and a pym particles hero and villian or two when I hang it up near the SHS helicarrier.

It's all about perspective though for me. Being not quite to scale makes it perfect for hanging above displays since it gives that illusion of being higher in the air than it really is.

Good thing they are putting a falcon in the punisher wave and short packing kang and scarlet witch. There aren't enough falcons out there now, so it's good to get another shot at him.

I think we should petition Hasbro to answer one question. Why are you so stupid collectively Hasbro?

How after all these years is it even posable for them to think that Kang and the Scarlet Witch wouldn't sell? But more figures already warming pegs would?

I know, the focus is on kids. Bla bla bla... I'm sorry but did they ever think to just try and not short pack figs for a change and actually see what happens. This is what would happen, collectors would scoop everyone of them up. Guarantee it. You would have less peg warmers in the end. Or short pack every-other case. Are they really so stupid that they can't try something, anything?

Optimus Vader 07-21-2012 10:12 AM

My Target got an MU refresh wave this past week too.. Red Hulk, Gray Hulk, Ab-man, IP, Dark Mags, white Iron Fist of course, Psylocke, Union Jack, Astonishing Wolvie,.. some others,.. nothing exciting.

Snowflakian 07-21-2012 10:37 AM

I don't mind the ghost rider repack coming up(wish it was now though), and repacking falcon isn't a bad idea either, though if I were them I would have waited until closer to Cap 2. Granted the recent casting news and how far off that movie really is could play a factor. I honestly might take this chance to finally pick him up. Been skipping him for now.
Kind of excited at the prospect of a movie version though. Might pick up an extra of the comic one for now for future custom potential with the wings.

Keep in mind some of the revisions we're seeing now though until about the Jubilee wave were planned prior to SDCC. So their answers and responses reflect the stuff coming later. Not what we're seeing right now. It'll take until about Sept/Oct before whatever changes they made really kick in unless there is a massive sales surge that forces the retailers to go through their main warehouse inventory faster.

Tarooster 07-21-2012 10:54 AM

Went looking for the two packs but as usual tru didn't have any mu at all besides the first class pack, so I don't like my chances to get them there at all.

But I did pick up the soldiers and henchmen pack from toy vault for $30, not a bad price considering its rarity and all 3 are great figures. Now I just need more of them lol.

SquirtleSquad7 07-21-2012 11:11 AM

Has anyone ever made a Black Cat custom?

If Baron Zemo ever becomes mass released, the fur on his sculpt looks like it'd be cool for that. (From what I recall Zemo looking like from memory)

Ghost rider is fine, despite he comes in the beast wave. But falcon???? That makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine. He peg warms everywhere, they can't give him away. And they repack him?? Not smart

Great pictures as always, it's awesome what you do man. hasbro should have you do their dio display for SDCC next year.

And I gotta track down one of those XMO iceman's I have that aqualad effect already, but it looks better with XMO iceman, better color match.

You guys gotta see this, it's fantastic, some dude took star wars figs and recreated some famous paintings, posters, and pictures.

The ark doesn't want us to hotlink to other sites, so you'll have to copy the below address and paste into your browser address bar, then add a h at the begining.

Enjoy

*edit* it appeared I coppied the link when I was on picture 20, so you'll have to go to pic one to view them all
