I still think that Hasbro doesn't get it with movie lines and Spidey lines. Even as a kid I didn't want the 20 versions of Batman or Spider-Man they were offering me in the toy aisle. Iron Man is a different story cause I can never get enough of theme armors but that is my secret shame. They should have kept it simple with Spidey and just did 2-3 solid versions. Maybe one movie, one suit we hadn't seen from the comics, and one silly or classic one. Then make villains they missed in the previous Spidey line. Do they have focus groups of kids that are telling them they really want all these gimmicky Spider-Men? |

I was just parusing the Coast to Coast archive to stick on my mp3 player- something almost hypnotic about listenng to utterly delusional people call art Bell and be treated as though their theories were completely possible. Lizard-men living in the center of the hollow earth giving the Illumaniti technology secrets? Sure, why not? Go listen to comics legend Neil Adams' bizarro ideas about the Earth having lighter gravity in the time of the dinosaurs... Thinking on that impossibly cool Secret Warriors brick I get to read tomorrow....I think I'll go nuts and read it in like two marathon settings. I have the parts for a few of that team's members lined up- I think I'll get Yo Yo done first. For those unfamilliar with her, you should see her beat Dark-hawkeye (bullseye) into a bloody pulp in the epic Secret Warriors/Dark Avengers throwdown. If you love Ares, those issues will knock your socks off- he's shown to be right on power level with Thor. |

In middle school, I used to save up my lunch money for the week, then my brother and I would make the rounds: KB in the fashion mall, then TRU, then KB in the broward mall(which I later managed when it closed), then sometimes Target, and a movie, but usually Lionel Playworld in the fountains for clearance Actionmaster Transformers. :-) I remember when the Playworlds closed, seeing pegs and pegs of Storm from the old XMen line hanging around for like $1.98. The Playworld in pompano beach was bought and turned into a boating store, and the one in Lauderhill was turned into a crappy furniture store. I used to imagine going in there and finding old toys just laying around. |

I love Art Bell. I worked 3rd shift at a gas station and would listen almost every-night. Some crazy ass shit going on on that show.

http://rlv.zcache.com/cthulhu_for_pr...79trak_400.jpg My issue is that it's all so half assed- if you want to make things better, screw comprimise with obstructionists- and if you want to send the world into the crapper and set yourself up as El Presidente For Life, then go for that, but dont piss on me and say it's "trickle down econemics" from the "job creators". I can abide an opposing viewpoint but not a bullshitter with no goal other than to hold office. Everyone bemoans that the Teddy Rooseveldts and Winston Churchils are extinct, but they forget what bastards those guys were when people stood in their way. If they try to please everyone, or even "the base" instead of doing the right thing, nothing gets accomplished. Worse still, they make guys like Reagan or Kennedy into mythical figures while ignoring all their positions that would make their getting eleted today impossible. plus, they're dead, but that's a whole different debate. |

Iron man is awesome because most of the armors looked at least sorta plausible- and I was looking at the Hydro Armor online just the other day and thinking I could concert the classic IM fig to work with the attachable parts...

Anyaway, back to toys! It's correct that the new wave is being found at retail in CA? if so it'll be like a week or two before they hit Florida pegs....can not wait! I'm hoping to find them in the wild and cancel my BBTS preorders. I was considering upgrading the Beta Ray Bill into a more Mu accurate scale- If I can score two Bill figs (one just in case) and another Showdown thor.... Could be amazing! |

I think that list goes on and on. Lincoln, FDR, Washington. Pretty much every great president had plenty of flaws because they were human but we tend to gloss over that. At least, we do for the ones we agree with politically. On that note, Reagan was a boss! |

I haven't seen that they were found anywhere statewide yet? |

I just want someone who's not bought and paid for and actually works on the peoples behalf. I'm not happy with any of our options. But I'll vote for the candidate that speaks out the most about the negative impact of money in politics. And that isn't Romney. |

I think Lapu Lapu just said he scored at retail in North California. |

Oh. I see. (shakes fist in frustration!)
On the plus side, there's no need to go huntng tomorrow....if the only thing I'll find is frustration. Alf would just get the Birther nuts riled up again...though I do enjoy every judge explaining what a mental case Orly Tates is, it would give that ass Trump something to talk smack about to generate hype for his fakedass TV show. David Vonner for President! Put the country to work making action figures! Only then will I get my Firepower figure....and Rick Mason! Anyone that promises me a Rick Mason figure has my vote. Really, do any of you guys even know who Rick Mason is? Freelance agent specializing in taking down super powered threats, his dad is the Tinkerer and supplies him with all sorts of Bond-esque gadgets...Anyone? Or Ailen Legion figures! If I get Nomad Squad, I'll canvas door to door in cracktown! |

The figures that will never happen but would love if they did and would never ask for anything else?
