That leads me to question, those of us who got order confirmations, I'm fine with them waiting to ship until the 14th, but are they going to cancel our orders or are they first in line for all orders?

I saw them on the site in stock this morning, of all the listings only the Thor set and Daredevil were actually in stock. I'm curious if any orders actually got through.

Im curious about that too. Hopefully we can keep our orders and not have to fight for them come a week or two.

I totally understand. I definitely want to get my order since it's already been acknowledged as received, but likewise I want people who were expecting to have to wait to order until the 14th to have a chance too. It's clearly not a good situation when something like this happens, there's no real fairness. Perhaps another reason they should just stop doing away with exclusives, there's a lot of room for error once product is received but cannot be sold. Adding to the fact the limited quantities only makes it worse.

This and they did make movie figures for older movies too, but they just weren't as sophisticated back then.

So for those who were able to order, did you receive a confirmation email, or will the orders not be honored because of the glitch?

I got a confirmation email, standard "we are currently processing your order and will notify you by email as soon as it has shipped". I know with TRU there's about three emails you get total (order acknowledgement, processing confirmation and then shipping confirmation) but I can't remember how it is with HTS.

I'm going to hold off on emailing them for 24 hours, or until I get some other kind of email, because I'm lazy lol. But also because whatever their response will be to the snafu, it won't change if I do it now or wait.

Who knows. Maybe they'll go ahead and ship them. They are the ones putting the release date on, I think. They may also hold them until the 14th which I said before I'm okay with. I will be irritated if they cancel the orders though and those who got lucky from their mistake have to get in there and fight for all the rest. But in a sense I can see that being fair, it puts everyone going for it on the expected release date, the 14th.

I'm glad you posted these. Movie figures have come a long way. I'm on record saying Hasbro gave us the very best movie figures in 2017. The future is looking great.

You are welcome, me too! I've only lucked out once on the last four years of getting it direct from HTS, so hopefully this will put me at 2 for 5.

Obviously as much as I'd like for those of us that ordered to get them, I really do hope they have a decent amount of stock left for the 14th. At this point there's nothing they can really do that is not going to piss some group of customers off, so having a little bit left over will perhaps smooth that over somewhat.

This, on the other hand... as a native Southern Californian, I know how easy it is for something to not be properly secured and for everything to come crashing down. Which is also why, aside from a few exceptions, we stay out of the statue game, and stick to things that can survive a tumble.

Shit I have actually had something similar to that happen. But luckily it was just Action figures ( still terrible) but only a couple broke if it happened to my Statues (what little I have) I would have found and beat the hell out of the guy who made that Cabinet.

Me neither really I only do if it's a character I love so I can have one out of package one loose. Like Flash or Ant man. But you might have a hard time finding a 2nd one of Hela lol. So will I so I will just take the one while I've got it

I was going to do it with the Black Panther from the Civil War wave, however, I've never seen that figure in retail. The only reason I have it is because I bought the wave from BBTS, and sold the comic figures.
