GIDDY UP! Rawhide!

That's some precision surgery, Creator! How did you get into Moonboy's hands, with a X-acto?[/QUOTE]

Yes, because I hate static figures. Boring they are. Dude it was fun and thanks for inquiring. Would love to answer more build questions, because I'll use anything.

Watching The Gifted atm and it's really depressing me how we'll probably never see any more X-men in this scale. I'd LOVE a Blink or Polaris.

Nice throwback pictures Lord Mudd & Universe (dig the articulated Crossbones & diorama pieces)!

Some posts earlier, i mentioned how even the 5 PoA Star Wars collection had superior sculpting over this year's MU offerings. i wanted to correct myself.

As i was looking over a few figures, particularly the cinematic characters, i realize we did get some nice sculpting. Strange, Star Lord, Yondu, Spidey, Vulture, Thor, Hulk, even last year's Black Panther.

Despite the reduction in articulation (i'm looking at you, Ragnorok Thor) and the "Strange" mismatched paint apps, the two-packs not only provided great value for the buck but fresh nicely sculpted bucks.

WAIT! There's more...
...no soft goods, some accessories, holsters to place pistols on (even holsters to place an invisible arrow in), removable helmut, and some better card art to boot. Plus such figures were released earlier (Strange being the exception) before their respective movies debuted satisfying our OCD.

Pretty good, all things considered, for our scale!

In appreciation of this discovery, i took a quick pic of the figure that ushered in this year with new surprises in our scale...

So, guys. NYCC is around the corner - do we have anyone who is going to promote and defend our scale? Who is going to ask Hasbro team those unpleasant questions about 3.75 inch line? We all know that Hasbro probably won't have any good news for us at NYCC, but it is important to show them that we are still out there, waiting and "keping our hope up".

If anyone is going to NYCC, or know anyone who does, or are friends with any Marvel youtuber, please go out of your way and remind them to ask about 3.75 line. IMHO it is now more important than ever.

Plot twist: Our scale completely dominates NYCC with someone actually competent saying that the two scales will receive equal treatment from now on whilst Dwight Stall cries in the corner.

Though legit, I'm not sure if that representation will ever get going in a big way. I mean, why pay to go to a convention that has nothing that will interest you just to make an argument about toys? I used to have a dream of going to SDCC someday, but the last few years have just convinced me that I wouldn't enjoy myself.

The diorama photos are great, guys.

I'd appreciate any feedback on the sample re-launch series I came up with in http://www.toyark.com/how-re-launch-...il-178238-new/

True indeed SENDER. But I may be the only person on here that really doesn't care for the cinematic figures. Nice pic also. Feed me more...

Harkening back to that classic line from Cyclops to Wolverine in Xmen "You would prefer yellow spandex?" Actually, I would. To me, comics are about fantasy and suspension of disbelief, so the effort to make costumes more realistic actually depresses me. I want my Captain America in flared gloves, pirate boots, and totally impractical little wings on his mask. Again, to quote Lt. Uhura: "This isn't reality, it's FANTASY!"

Pyro, Sauron, Lady Deathstrike, and so many others would have sold well with collectors and kids alike.
They could have at least given us lazy versions of a lot of characters with minimal unique parts. Fantomex, Sage, Polaris, New Mutants, AoA everyone, etc.

I always felt the same way - everything was heightened in comics, including what people wore (styles, colours, etc). I did see that would make them harder to translate to movies though, But Superman and Batman (1989) managed it quite well. Heck, I think the TV Hulk, Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Batman were good efforts. All that's really changed is the effects can show their powers now (even though CGI often looks fake).

I hated the 90's thing of comic characters growing stubble and wearing trenchcoats. Having said that... Captain America's costume was always one of the more silly ones. I think it was the 'A'... or maybe it was the little wings... Namor had little wings and green trunks... what was it with little wings?

Tbh, the most competent live action equivalent to his classic costume(and by classic, I mean the one that has stood the test of time and is most recognizable)is the one in the Avengers:

https://media.gq.com/photos/55828c46...in-america.jpg

Just hits the notes close enough whilst still looking awesome(yeah, I like that suit. Fight me). The one in the First Avenger is purposely terrible, and thus shouldn't be considered an option.

If you want a man looking awesome in tights, though...
